Class 5 rarity?

Where in the world would you pull that kind of description?

This I possibly one of the hardest D&D items to find it is in amazing condition and a great item for a collection. I have search numerous time to locate an available copy and it has been impossible. 24 of 27 Sheets CLASS 5 RARITY.

Methinks "Class 3 rarity" fits better

** expired/removed eBay auction **

From here probaby (although correctly identifying what the item actually is isn't apparently the same thing).

I grilled the same seller on a bunch of Dragons he unloaded.  Couldn't get passed his "no returns no matter what" mentallity.  I didn't feel like explaining / arguing SNAD and he didnt offer more pictures until the last day of auctions so I passed.  He also made a comment or 2 that led me to believe that he knew of the site and was hedging.  Shrug.

If anyone here won any of his stuff and it shows up, please feel free to comment.  I could be totally wrong.

Yeah, if someone wins something, definitely let us all know. I'm curious too how things work out.

"valuued at $200 in good condition the last time I checked"

Checked where? I'm guessing Amazon.

The answer to this listing is found in the seller's location.  Ridgeland, SC does not have a good reputation among the residents of nearby Savannah, GA when I lived there.

Here's a recent article about the city where they are gaining a reputation for being a speed trap:

I can't remember all of what was involved in it's reputation, but I think the marriage requirements were more lax there than anywhere, leading to lots of quickie weddings.

Seller states no water damage to the Dieties and Demigods book.

Just general wear.

144 pages, so $33 aint at all out of line...

I have seen crappy copies go for more than that.

And the PHB is not damaged either... another $10 book.

But if items are/have been stacked with/near moldy items, aren't you taking a major risk? Especially opening up a box of other moldy items in your clean un-moldy house

Yes, you are entirely correct.
There is some risk there.

BUT keep in mind the three Core Rule books are by Gary Gygox....  :?
They are VERY RARE!

Yea they only printed 1,000,000,000 of them. Very rare indeed!

New and never used... yeah, tell me another story. Still cheap at the moment, though.

If the bidding goes over $50.00, I'll throw in a couple of my favourite D20's. Yes, they're natural.

Well the buyer did not get to see her Natural D20's....

The first paragraph is ridiculous enough by itself.  But then there is the rest of the description.  The seller apparently does it for every one of his auctions.  Oh, and of course, the shipping is ludicrous.

That was insane.  It was a complete copy of the Wikipedia page.

I think part of the small print on wiki is that all the information posted is free for use.  That's what lets some of those autobook generating companies just rip the text and publish thousands of books.  Not sure if you even need to credit wiki as the source or not.
