Well, it looks like my shrink. Just got a little wet.

Gotta be worth at least $20, even so. ;>

Have a look at this original item title

9217 FR2 Moonshae Oriental Adventures Sealed MINT

http://cgi.ebay.com/9217-FR2-Moonshae-O ... 5d29427460

It's well known that the Moonshae Isles are .... in the Far East of the Forgotten Realms...  Exactly the opposite. Funny.

Here's an auction titled "Dungeons & Dragons Expert Rule Book"

This would get a chuckle in and of itself,

You are bidding on just the box.  Rules are NOT included.

http://cgi.ebay.com/Dungeons-Dragons-Ex ... 1e5c3614fb

Except...

the seller listed the rule book separately under the same auction title...

http://cgi.ebay.com/Dungeons-Dragons-Ex ... 1e5c35fcc1

Does the seller think this scheme is going to generate more $$$ separately??? :)

I could understand this better if they were using the free .99c listing

Not only do we have some spelling problems here, but "ultra rare" is not what you'd describe for either of these books :)

Wilderness survival guideproduct??? Sounds like someone's spending too much time in their Bass Pro Outlet store :D

Having said that, his shipping calculation for TWO books is definitely "ultra rare" as it shows up as $31.63

** expired/removed eBay auction **

edit:

Actual shipping TBD by buyers location.

I don't know if I'd want to get involved in one of his auctions... :?:

Wait until they start asking you to 'prove' the printing of your 1st print EW because 'TSH' made nearly identical prints in 2005.    Think about it a sec...

"slight odor as is common for most old books." Most old moldy books, yes, non-moldy modules, no.

Yes, this item *is* NEAR MINT (except for the tear and the fact that the cover looks like it has been rubbed with sandpaper).

He put the picture of the 3.5 D&D PHB, but is actually selling the cheaper 3.0 version...

"have no idea what edition it is I used it back in 97 or 98", which means he was playing 3.0 years before it was released in 2000.   :D

All I can say is

http://cgi.ebay.com/Complete-set-D-D-ha ... 4cf04fa7c4

Some highlights:

I know people throw the word "rare" around on eBay like nothing but this is truely a  rare find to see all of these books in this good of condition available together. ... Some of these books were limited edition and still very hard to find to this day.
----
* Players Handbook, 1st edition rare alternate cover art, TSR Games, ISBN: 0-935696-01-6, Condition: above average
----
Not to many people have all of these books.

Rare alternate cover art? Not many people have them? Limited editions?

Lemme smoke some of that.

At $50 it is worth it for the horus heresy, but the listing is pretty amusing.

I know that the auction is for the ENnies ceremony, but can we convince him go to the Acaeum dinner instead.  Think of him cuddling up to Tim or Frank . . .  :)
