All of his auctions have amusing descriptions.  Anyone who plays a character named "Lorem Ipsum" has a sense of humor.

However, if true, this is sobering:
I am homeless (living in a van) so your purchase helps put gas in the tank and cat food in the bowl.

*g* Relative to remaindered copies of the latest celebrity pseudoautobiography, perhaps?
Got a "sold" sign beside it, so they must be doing something right! ;)

Classic excuse, too, in;

"...his rapier is missing the blade because the character he was for had a "ghost blade" that only he could see (through his missing eye; long boring 'let me tell you about my neat character' story)..."

Was good reading through their other auctions... not bad on the painting either IMHO, fwiw.

The side view really gives that miniature the justice it deserves.

I am homeless (living in a van) so your purchase helps put gas in the tank and cat food in the bowl. Thanks for looking!

Poor dude... Nice looking minis though.

I also like how he takes standard minis and chops off the heads, or arms or weapons and adds some of his own stuff to make them more like the PCs.

I wonder if the van is parked down by the river?

Nice touch that, I gave mine distinctive paintwork, but I like what he is doing with those...

The homeless guy must be using a wireless.
I like the description of the frigid amazon she-hulk.

One of the simplest and funniest listings I've ever seen was after scrolling through page after page of eBay listings of d&d hardcovers (Dungeon Master's Guide, Monster Manual, Dungeon Master's Guide, Monster Manual, repeat, repeat) and stopping suddenly at back-to-back listings of the "Friend Folio" and a "Payer's Handbook". <shocked> <reality check> <laughing>
No seller-trickery was intended, just that familiar (probably well-meaning female) ignorance mixed with a little uncertainty. You know: Ma Bell's Little Used Book Store or something listing those books her son might have used. Thanks Ma!

I find in this age of persuation, good advertising always happens when an ad gives something back to me!

I can't wait to display this. Maybe I'll invest in a nice frame for it  :)

This great find would be a fine addition to any collection and displays nicely!

Here are some rather tasty morsels of modules -- no, really! I mean they're very tasty ... at least it looks like someone -- or some THING -- found them very tasty, with some obvious bits bitten off :)

Oh, and just in case y'all were wondering, they're all in mint condition

They are in mint condition.  There are 18 books and 1 map in the lot. Please feel free to email me with any other questions.  Thank you!

Can you get mint-scented mildew? :?
Maybe not, but there's certainly been some elemental evil at work there at some point.

(Looks like some of those were actually stuck together and cut apart... :()

Tasty Morsels.... this arrived today.
** expired/removed eBay auction **

I should have looked at the second picture more closely.  When it arrived it is clearly rodent eaten.  The book was dropped in food and the rodents chewed into the bottom of the book.  First they claimed in the description the bottom was cut with a knife...  when I emailed them they claim it was done with a hole punch.  They offered a refund.... but are clearly listing more titles that were rodent chewed to various degrees and calling it hole punch damage.  It's pretty gross.

I sent them a message stating that "both a knife and a punch are regular uniform cuts. This is eaten into leaving the edges of the damage concave. No hole punch or knife can make this contour. It's pretty clearly rodent damage to any experienced book collector/seller. Described correctly or illustrated clearly, very few people would even consider buying this. That coupled with a postmark that demonstrates it took two weeks to ship after an immediate payment make me very uncomfortable. Thanks for the return option, but had this been described properly or even arrived promptly there would be either no issue or an already resolved one. Meanwhile, it appears based on recent feedback that you have changed your descriptions from knife cut to hole punched. If you accurately state that the books are partially rodent eaten, they won't sell, right? I am out time, energy, shipping cost and aggravation due to what I can not determine is an honest error or a falsehood, ouch.".

In any event, if any of you are thinking of shopping with them, heads up.  I will return this to them, but won't shop with Mickey Mouse again.  hehe.

Ummm....I dont get it.  He has several of these auctions running.  Why would a seller do this?  Not to mention the wording in the description cant get much more rude than that.  "Bid on my fake auction and I'll block you from bidding on any future fake auctions!!!"  :?

A nice board game in MINT , UNUSED condition

Box has been roughly stored and has been crushed in areas & is dirty in places

Normal corner / Edge wear for the Age

Gotta love these contradictory statements.  Why is it that some people just don't understand the definition of Mint Condition?  If the box is crushed in and the shrinkwrap is dirty....it's not in mint condition anymore!  Just because its got plastic wrap on it doesnt necessarily mean it's worth anything.

Customer:  "Why does this ham sandwich cost ten dollars?"

Asshat:  "Because it's wrapped in plastic."

Customer:  "Oh...ok.  That makes perfect sense."

I got this text from a listed used 1e Player's Handbook on Amazon.com for $300!  Here is the description.  Mind you, the book is listed as "Used - Acceptable" for $300..

FIRST EDITION!! This book was owned by a Dungeon Master. I also have his binders full of all his characters that I will include if you want them. I will also throw in the Dungeon Masters Guide (1979). The bulk of the pages of the Player's Handbook are separated from the binding but are intact to each other (could easily be fixed if you know how). Previous owner used this book religiously, wrote on some pages (mostly pencil). The provenance on this set is amazing. I will pay the extra shipping to send this UPS for the safe tracking they provide.

Gave me a good, hearty laugh!

Every sentence of this posting is priceless!  "This book was owned by a Dungeon Master."
:D
The thought of someone sifting through the SEPARATED pages of his $300 PHB, then stating "well, Gee, at least I got the binder full of characters!"

OK - I'm considering bidding!  8O

If there was some way to confirm that these dice are, indeed, inclined to roll critical hits, then they would most certainly be worth $9.99.    8)

The problem is provenance...certification of non-randomness.

If the dice were indeed random but lucky - well - bidding war!  8O
