I am going to grief him. Free shipping is too low. I should be paid to take this crap from him. After all, if he says its not worth selling, he should just give it away... except he's done that, according to the auction. Methinks his grief is that he's bipolar.

What cracks me up about this auction is not only did he misspell "Dungeons & Dragons" in his auction title (hopefully he wasnt an editor), but in the last paragraph he tells people not to bitch about his shipping charges.  What shipping charges?

A whole 5 bucks to ship to the UK!

Love the feedback score of the seller, not to mention how 'happy' they will be to send pics.

Let's all hit her up with more than five questions a day and see what happens. :)

If you copy the link she has to amazon in the description, it comes up with the "Red Sonja Unconquered" module for over $65. I guess she doesn't know what she's linking too

Here's one of those convoluted auctions...

** expired/removed eBay auction **

By the way, it says they're selling their D&D books in exchange for a VW van? They have their priorities completely backwards!

The first iteration was obviously much better. The main thing was the 2nd print Deities & Demigods, but I also got the Fiend Folio (taped spine, but otherwise serviceable), the Players Handbook (similar), and 2nd edition PHB & DMG which I've had on my "pick up when it's cheap & easy" list. Not bad for $25 shipped.

It's been fun to watch the other iterations of that auction to see what the next folks took.

Glad I saw this before hitting the BIN.
I was going to get the same books you did.
She needs to show which ones are gone........

Talk about some sweet-talking going on. I can't imagine trying to butter up some seller by ending my email with "Hugs!". Especially for D&D books?

Question & Answer
Q:          Hi, how are you? could you send this item to brazil, please? :) im very interested in the books, i would pay through paypal, pay mail insurance, delivery confirmation, and all you may find necessary to ensure a good deal for you! if you do, how much it would cost? do you think about half of them would fit in a regular priority mail flat rate box? thanks a lot for your attention, hugs!         Jun-26-09

Oddly enough, this isn't the first time I've seen this.  Not sure if it's the same buyer or if it's a Brazilian thing (with the hugs and all).

Yeah, dude, it's in "fair" condition ...

At least it'd be shipped "safe in a priority box". You wouldn't want anything bad to happen to it

I laughed at that one too.  We need a weekly/monthly award in a few categories.  That would win top honors for auction title.

Man that dude is pissed at previous bidders.

Bitter indeed.

Especially China.........?  :?

That seller has a few items that I might otherwise find interesting enough to make a go at.

But the inflexabilty in his angry statements combined with a $10 shipping cost for a single book (Or something), makes me turn away from even trying.

It just aint worth the trouble.

No ebay access from work but was this the guy who was complaining about shipping Media Mail costing so much?
