Why would you need to carefully pack this for shipping?

I just thought of a fun game... and we can start with the joke on this seller.

somebody here should bid on this and when you win it DEMAND that he doesn't pack it carefully but just slaps a mailing label directly to the book itself... then we can send it around to each-other and see how much worse we could possibly make it...

Hmmmm, maybe that's how it got in that condition in the first place...  8O

That is some funny shit. Carefully pack a book that looks like it's been raped by a heavy-grit sanding pad.

T&T would then resell it as Fine condition - may or may not contain cover but a photocopy has been substituted.

Seller Says it is a First Print.

Actually it is a FIFTH Print.

Lists all kinds of data to (He thinks) back him up, yet his own LONG story lists the First prints being published in 1985 and HIS second picture shows a date of MAY 1987.....

ISBN on rear cover and the Yellow TSR LOGO in middle of front indicate Fifth print.

That rocks. Original value less than $50! I'm only asking you pay 60x that amount!

I think this is the first time someone has actually copied the description of one of my auctions (probably because I don't auction much stuff):

My auction:

Their auction:

That's pretty unbelievable speed for Ebay.  I did report it after I posted it here and within the hour it was gone.

My big problem was that he just copied the condition of my set into his auction as well although his looks considerably worse.

Another former WotC employee selling stuff on Ebay.

** expired/removed eBay auction **

What cracks me up about this auction is not only did he misspell "Dungeons & Dragons" in his auction title (hopefully he wasnt an editor), but in the last paragraph he tells people not to bitch about his shipping charges.  What shipping charges?
