He's gotta be a liar.  I don't know any wargamers that go to the gym.

Come to think of it....I don't know any wargamers.

I'll bet you never knew the "G" in "GK" stands for Guidon:

** expired/removed eBay auction **

When Guidon ceased business, Gygax published the game under the banner of his company, Tactical Studies Rules - also known as TSR. For a time, TSR used the original Guidon stock which explains the "GK" logo on the box and rule books along with the Tactical Studies Rules data.

Glad I am not the only one to have thought that right off.
I almost said something similar in my post.

pic 6 has the sections of maps B and H that are "blemished" and you can see some small brown spot...can't tell what the hell it's from...looks like a small burn spot like from when a heated piece of weed exits the bowl..but I wasn't smoking weed at that age

I have a Deities & Demigods that was in similar condition.  The covers were absolutely trashed, but I didn't want to toss the book.  I separated the interior pages, printed out "good" scans of the front and rear covers, and coily-bound the whole thing together.  It took a little bit of time, but at least I have a copy with the Finnish Mythos.  Oh, yeah, and the Cthulhu Mythos.

I'm not sure what a "homemade stick" is, since, unfortunately, it's not pictured.

At that price, it must be something really cool, though!

It is also spelled "homeade stick" in the description. Maybe it is a beverage for ladies of the night?

Humorous history and drama of a DMG ... I don't know about the price, maybe about $.98 too high?
