What will find down there, wax monsters?

Ahh, it really goes to show you I need to me more careful if I am cutting of the title as to what I leave it as.

Yeah, Georgia's other state motto is, "At least we're not Alabama.'

Of course, Alabama's other state motto is, "At least we're not Mississippi!"

I asked him if the book had a name or a product code, and he said, and I quote: "no."

If the shipping was a little less, I'd bid on it. I'm sooooo tempted!

I asked him if the cover was the blue one or if it was the ultra-rare purple cover.  I still havent gotten a response.  Maybe I confused him?

Definitely tempted to pull the 99 cent BIN on that Oreo Delight recipe though.

I asked him the following question:

Dear tigermonker,

Hello,

Could you please be more specific? There are literally thousands of different Dungeons and Dragons books. Your description is like saying "book for sale". A picture would also help.

Thanks

- dbartman

Here was his, rather snide, response:

dungeon masters guide to immortals.is that a little more clear for you???

Perhaps I had it coming for asking the question a bit sarcastically...

No, the guy is an asshole. Anyone want to have some fun?  I just put TigerWanker's item on my watch list...let's see if we can push that watch list up to double digits and blow his mind...not that anyone would bid on it, but it will have to get him a bit anxious.

The guy finally got back to me about the color of the book.  His response:

ITS GOLD AND ITS DM'S GUIDE TO IMMORTALS

I guess I was hoping for a bit more silliness in the response.  Oh well.  :P

His reply to me was terse and civil.

99? I saw it for 1 cent! Still kinda pricey, though... I'll offer him one Centavo (Mexican) and see if he takes it. Though, with the way the dollar's been falling, that might be a higher price!

Looks like it got caught in a Godwar between Cyric and Mystra (little bit of Forgotten Realms referencing since it IS Faith & Avatars...)

There is nothing in particular about the description of this auction thats laughable, as a matter of fact the seller did a lot of work describing it in great detail. The thing that makes this auction laughable is the fact that the seller has listed this auction as a Gallery Plus Pro-pack item, which effectively means they are spending $30 to sell $2 worth of books.....
