Guys, let's have a better understanding of diversity here shall we? Many ebay sellers are of Gnomish heritage. When you see an apparently high postal rate, that's because they've got to climb a ladder to reach the mailbox.

Maybe the gnomes at WOTC who are pushing out 4th Ed have decided to pre-emptively eliminate any connection between themelves and 4th Ed -even before it hits the streets?

People may in fact be more interested because of what these items are, but I posted them here because of the Cougarrinard-like scans:

:D Yes. They better not list a book that has been reprinted a lot or they'll be writing years all day.

They were giving them away for free at the WoTC booth and they were also included in a swag bag at another booth so I was able to pick up one of them.

I thought about tossing it in the garbage but decided to keep it instead.  I figure one day it will either be 1) collectible, or 2) it will animate and try to crawl into my brain and turn me into a dreaded Gleemax zombie.  I would prefer death since it is rumored that Hasbro's whole idea behind the free miniature Gleemax brain is to take over people's minds in order to get them to buy 4th edition material.

That's what I heard anyway.

I was trying to get someone to pick one of those up for me.  Alas.

As the first official 4th Edition collector, I am off to a sad start.

I think that's a different slogan than I've seen on the other brains that have been for sale.  Can anyone confirm this?

If so, you may have quite the collection of brains before you're done. ;)

I've got 4 of them, and I didn't go to GenCon. Want one? I've got two I can get rid of. I want to keep the other two. They are cute... but, that's because they're brains.

Probably one of the worst listings I've seen

I don't know which is worse, the picture, the seller feedback rating, or the possible shill bidding going on.

That is a scary one.  If you look at the sellers history, they've had the account since 2001, when they started out with a negative, then had 5 successful transactions before another negative in 2003.  Then took a 4 year break only to come back for another negative transaction in 2007.  And now to sell something?

That is just scary!

Shill bidding?  Ya think?

I mean the seller is listed from Staten Island NY a.k.a New York City and the current 2nd place bidders ID is anthonyrnyc or Anthony*R*NYC.  Even our new resident detective sauromatian doesn't even need to get involved to show thats a shill.
