Isn´t this still a copyright infringement, even if the books are 30+ years old? I´ve recently seen color copies of D&D3 for sale as well.

Looking at the pictures it seems that at least some of the material in them is photocopied, making its sale a big no-no. But at least they're "in good condition and complete".  :P

Know what? I saw them on sale - again.

Probably, old copyright infringement comes under the "rare archeological finds", and so it is allowed. ;)

I probably have this in the wrong topic because it's not silly, actually I thought it was pretty cool. This seller had this up for quite a while and dropped his price to $99 a few months ago and it finally sold last week.

A 1st print DMG in pretty much blah shape. But the inscription from Grandma, to me, was priceless - and so authentic. Well, maybe not priceless. I thought about shooting him an offer, but I really didn't want to pay half of that because of the condition. I'm glad he found someone to appreciate it.

Up for sale is one of rarest D&D first edition books ever printed. These are so rare that most collectors will never own one.

Not laughable, just plain funny for any that have been there - which is probably almost all of us (Picture 11)

The Trapper-Keeper folders & the campaign notes are the most interesting part of the auction. Be the envy of your gaming group with vintage notebooks like these:

My eyes lit up just seeing the Trappers. I still have mine in all of their scrawled all over, masking tape is the only thing holding them together glory.

The Brown and Yellow covers are the rarest, and command quite a bit of money...

Ok, if the seller is really able to read that title on the cover of the book, i would suggest him to have a deep oculistic check...

Ok, here we have two scenarios:
1. Everybody here missed the publication of a great piece of the hobby industry, namely Piolus
2. The seller has huge problems with the keyboard

Ok, that post above, about never owning a 144 page Deities and Demigods; with the number of collectors coming on line, and what I see left on ebay, it may become true.

I now only find this listing to be slightly more crazy than whats left, and the prices of these books.
