Has anyone tried to use his eBay information to make a phone call?  A look in the white pages or Google search may turn up information as well.

Well, like smarmy1, I ended up getting a refund through PayPal for the item I purchased, so as far as I'm concerned, the issue is closed.

But beyond that, whether this "bbarsh1986" is or isn't "bbarsh" seems secondary to the fact that, as of now, he obviously can't or doesn't want to contact anyone to finish up old business. That in itself suggests that trying to phone the guy just to see what's up would be inappropriate.

However, if he owes you money or items, then calling him directly might be the only way to get what's owed you and I don't see anything wrong with that.

Just got all the way through this thread.

I posted in the OT thread. Anyone who did not recieve an item from the May auction...LET me know.

I just started back on ebay.

I have had a nightmare of year (business related) and it has litarally absorbed my life. It was very sudden and very bad. As many of you may be aware, the new home market is not very good. In fact, in Michigan it has been completely detroyed. When you build homes for a living and sales slow, you tighten up the ship and drive through it. We are way past that point here...Most of the people I know (in the business) have either gone under or left the state (leaving their own homes open to foreclosure). So basically, I have spent 11 years buidling my business only to see all disappear...regardless of how much I have invested (time and money).

I do apologize to all that were affected this mess. I will make it right as best I can. Just send a PM.

And no, I did not relocate to Harper Woods.

The button is cool...

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

Very sorry to hear that.  The housing market is taking a bath all over the country, but I have read about unusually bad things in Michigan.

Glad to have you back.

Thank you all for the kind words.

Things are still pretty bad, but I am doing what I can to get back to a sense of normalcy (sp. looks wrong ? but its late).

Anyhow. Thank you.

You mean 'normalcy?' The word was invented after WWI to describe a return to peacetime conditions. It has a sort of neologism sound [see also 'embiggins' & 'cromnulent' of Springfieldian English].

The spellchecker on this forum recognizes 'normalcy' even though it marks 'chainmail' as wrong. I guess the programmer must be a full-plate purist.

There's a spell checker function on this forum?  :x

Hey, don't know you, but these other guys seem to, so, welcome back.

Oh, and you could just use FireFox as your spell-checker.
