This Friday night it will be Bracket talk!  How well did you do?  How much did you suck?  And why oh why did I pick Missouri in the Final Four of ALL my plays???

Subjects for Tonight:

1. MAR Barker has passed away
2. Any suggestions about tax writeoffs will be greatly appreciated so I don't have to pay $500 this year (what am I missing???)
3. Did your NFL team sign any free agents worth spit?
4. Is your MLB team looking good in spring training?
5. We never talk NBA or hockey or soccer so forget about that
6. Anyone seen John Carter yet? Should I spend the money?
7. Any gaming items to recommend this week? Or did you hit the mother lode on ebay buying something cool?

Mike B.

I saw it with my wife last time I was back in Australia. We both really enjoyed it.

Not sure why the critics have dissed it so much, I guess Walt Disney didn't get the hype right. And maybe the novel is so old, younger generations are not familiar with it.

Trashy vampire novels with horrible story lines seem to do better these days!

It has a solid 7.0 out of 10 on imdb after over 32,000 ratings, which indicates a pretty solid film.

I was wondering the same thing, Doug.  The last couple of Friday nights I've logged in, the room was empty.  I miss you guys!

Sorry, on my part I've missed most or all of the last four chats due to other commitments and company in town.  Going back to when Deimos was running the chat room I've missed less than a dozen chats in the last 4-5 years. I haven't run it past Doug yet but we may try to boost attendance in the chat with special offers or special announcements first available to chat regulars who log in Friday.  Also, for the fantasy football enthusiasts, I'm thinking of running a special Monday night edition to coincide with Monday Night Football.
