Haven't been to a chat in a while and maybe sometime until I get a Friday free.  Someday.

Tonight's topics include:

  • Care and feeding of Baby Lemurs (and other Prosimians)
  • How to GM on less than 2 hours sleep
  • DSL -- how fast is too fast for a text-based chat, anyway?
  • Gaming at Work, fact or fiction?

Ok, so it's the same as every other week, except I'll be wearing a Santa hat.  But for all you know, I do that every week.

Hopefully you'll be wearing more than a Santa hat.  8O  I wouldn't want you to catch cold. :P

Join the first chat of the year and be history!  :D    :?   Uh, that didn't sound right did it?    O.K. just join the chat tonight so you won't be history.  :D    :? That sounds a little too threatening.  Hmmm.... Look, just join the fun and we'll look at history.  Forget that, I'm not into studying!  How about, "Come and chat!"  Oh Lord, now I'm sounding prissy.  Forget the introduction.  Tonight's topics include;

1) How many collections we have (take the poll)
2) Why are they phasing out D&D mini games
3) What minis are best, plastic, pewter, lead or...., my favorite, DEPLETED URANIUM!   8O   Now those suckers are HEAVY! :D
4) What happened to Deimos on New Years Eve(I don't really know anything but he might confess something interesting if we all ask)!
5) Who knows what else we might talk about.

Sorry I'll miss an hour of chat tomorrow.  I'll be watching Sex, I mean Six, on Battlestar Gallactica.  The last season begins this Friday night at 10 PM.  If you have wondered what you are missing, their web-site can catch you up in a jiffy.

No, I don't have sex, I mean stock, in the series.  8)

Yeah, I'll probably have the chat on while I watch, but I can't multi-task too well.  I guess I'm getting old or something. :?

Sci-Fi Channel has been playing Battlestar Galactica episodes all day.  I think the episodes are the first half of Season 4, since they look vaguely familiar.

Now what they should have done is play episodes of Galactica 1980.  After all, it was the final season of Battlestar Galactica.

It was high 30 degree C's in Melbourne today and the next four days are apparently all going to be over 40 degrees C giving us the worst heat wave since 1908. I am sweltering at 9:30pm. I feel sorry for the players at the Australian tennis open.  -whoops meant to put that in the random thoughts thread -- see what the heat is doing to me.

We need to set up a weather trading program.  It's finally up to about -5 C today, just in time for another blast of snow.
