Wow, folks.  Hard to believe an entire year has gone by!

Tonight will be deemed the official First Anniversary Limited Edition of what we now somewhat affectionately refer to as Lemur Chat.  (Although we had an earlier chat for about a month prior, this week marks one year since we rolled out the "new" chat...)

So show up, and bring friends.  I'll be eating cake, and talking about how good it is.  You may wish to bring your own.

I'll be drinking rum, and checking out streaming video of Drelnza naked while chatting. Let's rock!

BTW congrats Deimos!!!

Sorry wasn't there - I was going to pop along, but then I realised it was Friday the 13th - which as everyone knows spells bad luck for the year ahead, unless you spend the whole evening in the pub.  So, I had no choice.

Hrm....ok, I'll delete the account, and you can reuse it.  Two mins after reading this should be good.

Tonight we discuss Ten Things Men Never Want To Hear:

1) "That looks cute."
2) "We need to talk."
3) "It's just a game."
4) "Nothing's wrong."
5) "I sound like my mom."
6) "I just want to be friends."
7) "Size doesn't matter."
8 ) "What are you wearing?"
9) "Do you think she's pretty?"
10) "Which outfit do you like better?"

Just joking.  We actually talk about D&D, beer, women, comics, Gen Con, Coug and anybody who doesn't show at the forums

"No."

Always "no." Even a diplomatic "She's okay, I guess" is not good enough in this situation.

Even "No" doesn't work sometimes.  You have to say no like you could care less and then change the subject.  "So, wanna watch a football game with me?"  Of course, she says no and THEN you're safe.

There's an old ploy that sometimes works, but the timing and the inflection of the voice has to be just right: follow that question with a question.

Her: "Do you think she's pretty?"

You: "Should we barbeque on Saturday, do you think?"

If all goes well, and the planets are aligned correctly, an escape might be possible.
