Ok, cough it up: how much did you have to bribe Scott Adams for that? :P

Well, I have actually corresponded with him on one occasion.  (He had done some bad math on behalf of Dogbert and the geek in me felt it was necessary to let the writer know.)

But we never discussed lemurs.

Yeah, that's like 2am onwards. I kinda enjoy my sleep...

Maybe it'll be easier to get onto the rooms when the planned move to Oz gets sorted.

Hope to see you folks tonight!  I missed last week, so hopefully it wasn't "everybody gets a free woodgrain for showing up" week...

'Fraid I won't be able to make it tonight.  Christmas party at the wife's workplace takes precedence.  Neither of us really wants to go but she's bucking for a promotion and so we kinda have to.  The really sad thing is they are going to have an open bar and I can't get even a little tipsy.

OK, stomach seems to be settled, headache slightly less pounding, visual field seems stable...  Time for a post-hangover fry-up  :D .  I am off for lunch, to one of my fave caffs.

http://www.london-se1.co.uk/restaurants ... aries-cafe

Which does egg & bacon & chips plus great stir-fried food.  I will have both I think.  Plus the Saturday Guardian ( http://www.guardian.co.uk/ )and at least three mugs of tea.  The day is looking up already  :D  :D  :D

Just stay away from the black pudding eh?     All in all, the party wasnt too bad.  The wife had a good time so that was most important and even won an Ipod as a door prize.  And I wasnt disappointed that I couldnt drink much either as the bar was pretty pathetic.  There weren't any premium spirits to be found and the beer selection was laughable.  When I asked them what imports they had my answer was Heineken and Corona.  Frankly I would rather drink used dishwater.
