Looking at the TSR Archive site (very useful if you haven't seen it) I read that both DA1 and DA4 have pull out folding maps.  My personal copies were bought used and I do not have a map in my DA4.

I just received a lot of modules that contained copies of both DA1 and DA4 both with a foldout map.  To my untrained eye both maps look exactly the same... :?:  Is this correct :?:

I'd appreciate it if someone knowledgeable would let me know.  Thanks!

Look in the south west of DA4. There're some additional sites. Also, the maps are folded differently. There's another thread discussing these modules where I list the easiest way of telling them apart.

Or even simpler, just look around the edges of the map and match up the product codes between the modules and the maps.  The product code on the DA1 map looks like this:   9172XXX0701, as the product code of DA1 is 9172 which appears in the top right hand corner of the module cover.  DA4 should be something along the lines of 9205XXX???? as the prduct code of DA4 is 9205.

You're right - it's 9205XXX0701. However, the copyright notice says 1986 instead of 1987, which made me think it was just the DA1 map with some extra roads and towns added.

I think this is correct.

I don't have them in front of me, but I bought this set recently and I seem to remember that the the DA4 map only had minor changes compared to DA1.
