Hi,
this is my first post here, so let me know if I'm posting things in the wrong places etc. :)

In the last few days I have come across a couple of Classic (BECMI) D&D modules that are only available in Norwegian. They were printed in a magazine (as a pull out section) called Sirius, and from what I understand, they were produced under some lisence from TSR. The magazines I have available so far were published in 1989-1990.

The two modules in question are:
NM1: Risehøvdingens skatt (Treasure of the Ogre Chieftain)
NM2: Skatten på krokodilleøya (Treasure of Crocodile Island)

I noticed that there is a section for forreign products. Is this of interest to this forum?

I'm sure they are, Havard.

When I read "exclusive Norwegian" gaming publications, I picture books that are exactly the same as English-language products...except that horned helmets have been drawn in on every picture.

I'd be interested to see what they look like.  Could you post a picture?

Hehe!

That should read "Norwegian language only" rather than exclusive. My bad :P
Horned helmets would be nice, but N2 has no illustrations besides three fairly nice maps. The modules dont even have their own covers as they are only pull-out sections of a magazine called Sirius.

I'll see if I can get a sample scanned over the weekend. N2 is similar in style and writing to the Moldway era modules, like X1 The Isle of Dread.

They are written by Johannes Berg, the guy who translated the Basic and Expert rules into Norwegian.
