I don't use modules prefering to create my own. I'm using B2 and am having a hard time placing things. I was hoping maybe someone would have a city map that had worked well for them. Am I the only one who had a problem with this one? :?

The thing to remember about B2 is the Keep isn't a city, village or town. It's an outpost in a hostile land. Most city maps wouldn't work well; the typical "Village of Hommlet" set up is unrealistic.  The feeling is a paranoid, edgy populace always fearing invasion or siege.  Any city with a large gate, defensivle position, or high walls would work.  Maybe the village of Daggerford in Forgotten Realms (N5 Under Illefarn or The North boxed set...the latter is available as a free download I believe at the WOTC web site) might work.  Frontier type town,  surrounded by walls and gates and guardposts.

Don't overlook things like online historic maps of medieval cities such as:

Carcassonne

Perhaps the original poster is missing the map of the Keep that comes with B2?
