Al's trans-America plans inspired me to start a similar thread.   :D

If all goes as planned, I'll be in northern Europe from about August for a year or so.

I'd absolutely love to hook up with a few of the UK guys for some intense gaming/drinking.   8)   What're the odds we can get a group together in a cool, spooky old castle for 2-3 nights and go more or less non-stop.

Off the top of my head, I'm thinking killjoy, red_bus, obiter.  Are you guys up for it?  And anyone else have the possibility to join us?

Could be abso-freakin-lutely awesome!   :D

Sounds great.  I know of a few castles/manors a group of us could game in.  I reckon we could probably get five or six of us together.  Would be pretty cool.  :D

Not to mention getting a group together and having a TP party at the cougie asylum

Free case of Shiner to anyone who puts some crap in a bag, lights it on fire, and leaves it on Cougie's doorstep after ringing the doorbell....

Seriously, it would be interesting to have someone scout cougarrinard's lair and send us some photos.

I mean...not to harrass the cougmeister...but just because he is the Dr. Evil of game collecting.....a legend of a sort.

Imagine cougar's astonishment as Acaeum operatives pop in on him for a photo op!  Too cool!

I'm likely to be in Amsterdam in the fall for work, for a week of work, and then a week of fun and travel, hopefully.

I picture cougarrindard's surprised face looking much like the cougar miniature that was auctioned off last month.

At some point in the next 9 to 18 months, there is a good chance I will be moving to Vienna. If it is sooner, I would definitely be in for a role playing weekend in a spooky castle somewhere. Depends how quickly I can knock off this PhD. I am spending too much time on my hobby and too little time on my work.

I'll be in Italy in early May for a while with Mrs. Marsh, taking some time to be with ourselves.

Stephen

We have a trust called the Landmark Trust which rescues historic buildings and castles, and pays for all the restoration costs by renting them out (like, for example, to a group of role-playing fanatics, keen on a 36 hour D&D marathon...)

http://www.landmarktrust.org.uk/

Has some good venues.
