...which post?

bombadil wrote: Only secret members will be able to read posts to this thread.

...what thread?

bombadil wrote:Membership is by invitation only.  Members are invited only after nomination by an existing secret member.  However, since membership is secret even to existing secret members, nominations are highly unlikely to be accepted, let alone noticed.

...membership of what?

bombadil wrote:Secret members are free to post secret observations here, both on the behavior of "regular" Acaeum members, as well as on secret goings-on below the normal Acaeum levels and its sub-webs.

...sorry?

bombadil wrote:Oh, and yes, this is the thread we'll use to advertise, trade and sell rare items at a fraction of their posted valuations.

Anyone have a spare copy of the rare CF1 Legend of Chief Chunkspewer TSR only pre-pub editorial manuscript for trade?

I think there's only one copy in existence.  I saw it at GenCon last year.  The owner carries it around with him obsessively, in a black garbage bag.  The bag itself is rumored to be worth thousands.

BTW, did you receive those hand-written Gygax notes from the first draft of "Men & Magic" I sent you last week?  If you're interested, I've also got manuscript notes on U & WA.

Oh, and before I forget:  thanks for tipping me off on how to encrypt the thread so that the "others" can't read what we're posting here.  Awesome!

Ninja practice?!?  You lying sack!  You told me you were going to church.  Now who the hell is going to help me rebuild my time machine?  You know how important it is that I get back to the year 1963.  I must prevent Raven McCracken from being born so that the evil rpg Synnibarr can never be created.

Skynet will not be pleased Mike.  Don't make me destroy you.

Don't worry we already built the time machine.  It just hasn't happened yet in your timeline.  We used it to go back in time and help Zocchi invent the 100 sided die way back in 1970.  Only that timeline split off and became a divergent dimension...like the one where Nixon never became president and instead co-created D&D with Gary Gygax, Dave Arneson and Twiggy.  Damn, these time paradoxes really confuse me.
Unicorn's blood or Griffon's blood in the magic ink?  I always forget.

What about ST-1:Planting the Garden Path....

A Wizard is never late, Frodo Baggins, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to.

STS1: Cavern of the Annoying Troll Lord

"Can your party of stalwart adventurers drive off the Lord of the Trolls before its incessant ramblings drive you mad?"

I have one...but shipping and handling is $100.  :D

STS-1 is the official name of the first space shuttle launch.  It's also the basic unit of transmission in a SONET network.  Coincidence?  I think not.

You're obviously taking the shuttle to the caverns and installing fiber-optic cable for some nefarious purpose.  Fess up.

For Sale

Pet gibbering mouther, best offer or will trade for medium sized gelatinous cube (desired to help clean floors).  Generally well mannered, though slobbers a lot and has mild bi-polar disorder causing occasional rants of profanity.
