Yeah, I got it backwards.  The previous "4th" never existed; the current 4th is the previous "4th minus".

Just ran into this thread today while at work (is it really work if you're not working and instead reading threads?)  Anyway, I have a whitey on the shelf at home but I can't remember the printing.  I'll check when I get home and respond.  Heck, I probably bought it from one of you folks!

Single 4th print . . . that's what I first purchased, once I was "allowed" to know where this stuff came from, as there were no game stores, just Mail Order 8)


"Okay, we turn the corner and see a Purple 'WHAT' !?!" . . (the DM rolls a 20 or so he says) . . It all went black right after that.

I've got a 5th print, all books, includes reference sheets and box in good condition (no splits, some bowing to the box).
