Congratulations, Al.  It is an example not only of physical endurance, but emotional and psychological endurance to try again against all obstacles...a test of character as well as strong legs.  8O

hey chappies

another quick update. am currently in london heathrow waiting for my flight home.

i will post up a big blog of the whole thing when i get a little time to flesh out my notes.

the 19.5 hrs stage. that was the stage 4 endurance stage - 70.5km over some of the most feckin awful terrain you could imagine. believe me when i say, you have noooooooooooo idea and really dont want to :D

planning other stuff? well i um am already down for next year but that might change yet :D

anyway gotta dash will post some more later.

for me it's just awesome, but i would add ...

i was out with a mate last week (a guy who's just finished a 20 year stint with the Royal Marines) and i mentioned the MDS

all i can say is he was impressed, well impressed, and coming from him that's something ..
