I was looking at this picture from the recalled and corrected Palace of the Silver princess and I was immediately struck by a word that appears hidden among the picture.  Am I halucinating this or is this something that others have long drawn attention to?

Not a big deal unless you are a disney animator, but it sure stands out to me.  See it?

OOOO - Now I see it - or perhaps just wishful thinking!

It's all a load of symbolics as far as I'm concerned

Strange that is is most obvious in the corrected version, though I think I can make out the X in the first version.  Very clever.

Bottom left corner?  Is that what I'm supposed to be seeing?

Thats what I thought they were referring to but it is actually in the middle, with the X formed from the dragon tail and wing. Good catch though. I wonder if there are any more?

Yea, maybe....but you have nearly 3500 posts on this collector's site so, "Hello pot, this is the kettle.  Your black!".

Honestly, it is the first thing that jumped out when I looked at the picture. I was trying to see why the first version was so offensive and just couldn't see it.  Oh well.

The way I see it, in the original version, the X appears to be represented by the folds of the female figure's gown.  It's actually more obvious that way.

Palace of the Silver Princess.I have fond memories of this mod.I played this mod solo by covering up the pages with two pieces of cardboard
and only reading entries one line at a time.I viewed the map through a
small hole.I was supposed to be working as a night security guard at the time,so at least i was getting paid while doing it.Is this slightly sad?
I had no one to play D&D with me....i was nearly hoping someone would
break into the repossessed electrical warehouse i was guarding so i could
be the DM and the alleged thief could be the PC.

yes, that was the first module I played too.

I was a thief and got killed prettty quick as a block fell from the ceiling just inside the palace.  Funny how one can remember such trivia - it was about 27 yrs ago!

As far as the word goes.  Is it just an interesting coicidence or ... ?

OK, I don't know about "SEX" on the statue or dragon on whatever, but I can definately make out the words, "Jerry Fallwell Was Here" in the lines on the hand.

Quite disturbing.
