I wanted to let you any avid TSR Collectors know

I have just listed a complete set of 16 TSR DND Moduals/Books - Factory sealed (circa 1989-1990).  I would figured for the right person this may be totally a cool find (a collection of this type in quantity).

These moduals were displayed in the offices of TSR Lake Geneva WI as promotional items to spice up the office area.

The books/mods are in new condition. A rare find for a enthusiest or collector being the nature of theyre origin. I will also supply a company brochure of where these moduals were constructed graphically to authenticate they're origin.

I have them posted on ebay if anyone is interested.

Moduals:

Monstrous Compendium - 2nd Edition Volume 3 1989

Buck Rogers - XXVCAZ (1990)

Spell Jammer - Lost Ships (1990)

Top Secret / S.I. - Web Wars 7637 - (1989)

Dragon Lance - Otherlands - 9278 (1990)

Dragon Lance - Dragon Dawn 9275 (1990)

Dragon Lance - Dragon Keep DLE3 9245 (1989)

Dungeons and Dragons - Queens Harvest (1989)

Forgotten Realms - Kara Tur -The Eastern Realms OA7 (1989)

GreyHawk Adventures - Vale of the Mage 9270 (1989)

AD&D Lankhmar - Theives of Lankmar 9276 (1990)

Dragonlance - Dragon Keep DLE3 (1989)

AD&D Greyhawk Adventures - Falcons Revenge 9279 (1990)

DND Creature Crucible - The Sea People (1990)

AD&D SpellJammer - Lost Ships (1990)

AD&D GreyHawk Adventures - Puppets (1989)

Gamers Handbook of the Marvel Universe 1989 Character Updates (1989)

(shrinkwrap slightly torn, this is a large softcover book)

Well, thanks for spamming the main forum with your ad here.  You'd think that we'd be smart enought to set up a classifeds froum for stuff like this.....Oh yeah thats right we do already have one.

I don't see how these are any different from regular shrinkwrapped items - and none of these are particularly vauable???

This is a big con. If you're stupid enough to buy these, I've got the original White Dwarf magazines from Games Workshop's offices in London, EGGs original copy of B2, (the one they played in store in Lake Geneva), and the original hand written notes for Dwarven Glory. I'll give you the lot for $1K.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

The funny part about this thread is that I located this lot when it was originally listed on ebay(and prior to this spam attack) and I was planning on throwing in a pretty decent bid on it.  I wasn't going to be bidding on based on the "claim" that it is something special because these items were posted around the TSR offices(even if that is the case, who the f**k really cares?  :? ), I normally try and buy shirnkwrap items to fill holes in the collection and sell off the rest.

Now though, because this ass hat has decided to come here and spam the main forum here with his sh**ty ad, rather then bother to even take the 2 seconds that it would have taken to recognize that we actually have a classifeds section for exactly this kind of stuff(let alone introducing yourself and acting like the board isn't just your own personal site to spam and then leave), I am not even going to bid anymore on principle.  I hope his sh**ty lot here doesn't even sell now.

1)  It would be a simple matter to ask the seller for some sort of provenance.  For instance, how did he come into possession of these items?  If he has no provenance then he is not for real.  Simple as that.

2)  A newcomer can be expected to make mistakes.  He could be gently re-directed to the classified section.  If his lot is legitimate then it certainly would bear discussion on the main page.

3)  Is it really our plan to tear apart every new person, even if they do break some unwritten rules, say something annoying or originally come here with some sort of agenda?
