Hi All,

Thought it might be fun to share stories about getting some items for FREE, which is of course the "best deal".

I have received a few items for free from very nice sellers, as I always try to be very communicative and thank everyone for any of their extra efforts.

In fact, one guy I had bought several items from before contacted me about Cougie, as he wanted the seller to send his recently won items to a U.S. location (Seller was not offering international shipping). This was just recently after my slam by Cougie, so I gave him the 411 on the Couginator. The seller actually calls me at home and we talk for a while. (Just general chit-chat and ragging on Cougie's grasp of typing or words)Totally unsolicited, he tells me that he will contact Cougie to tell him that his package fell into the water and ruined all his items. The seller then tells me that he will send me those same items for FREE 8O - revenge is sweet :D  It was nothing special, just some Spelljammer stuff, Marco Volo, and lots of FR stuff. There were about 18-20 more items than what I had won

"Okay, we turn the corner and see a Purple 'WHAT' !?!" . . (the DM rolls a 20 or so he says) . . It all went black right after that.

You got a great deal...Cougie got it up the ass hard.  How can I not love this story???
The important thing was you were rewarded for doing the right thing, which was warning an unsuspecting seller about Cougie's unethical buying tactics, namely the "disappear now, appear on Cougar's ebay store later" crap.

I have a rather large collection of free modules that I have hunted down online.

I collect pretty much any free PDF that is out there.

well, this story is nice:

remember someone of you posted this auction
** expired/removed eBay auction **
in the interesting items thread? well, i forgot to bid on it and once i found it already gone i sent out a PM to the winner asking him whether it was possible to buy a sealed copy of the companions forniture 15mm (there were 2 of them in that lot)... well the buyer replied me that he would have sent his spare copy for free simply because i had been kind in asking him to have a deal!!! :D

...cooool!

of course, i have to remind his nick: barrscott1157!
