Buyer  8)  Haven't been sullied by a sale yet.

Does that make me still a virgin?

pretty much an exclusive buyer.  last time i sold much at all was towards the end of college, when beer money was running a little low and cards where tapped out.  my old GW stuff got me through those last couple quarters...  ;)

Interesting results so far. As a group, we appear to lean toward buying much more than I thought we did. Actually, these first few results go a long way toward explaining many of the "I'm a buyer, and I have a question" threads that we see here at The Acaeum.

Keep those votes coming; don't be shy! :)

And when I checked the term buyer with rare sales: I am speaking of VERY rare sales.
Roughly, my purchases on E-Bay equal about 600
My E-Bay sales = 5  Exactly.

I would much rather trade than outright sell most items; In fact I at least double the number of trades I make versus E-Bay sales in the past few years.

Actually for the past couple of years I have simply sat on the few remaining items I have left and have done "none of the above" on E-Bay or elsewhere. 8O

I would have been almost exclusively a buyer until 2006, when I was much more a seller.  This year...  Not sure yet   :D

Buyer only, and I'm relatively new both here and on eBay. I'm a bit surprised that no sellers-only have posted on the thread still (this makes me feel better, since it means my bank account is not the only one bleeding on the ground :D ).

I am too. I figured we had at least one user who was interested only in selling.

Actually, I'm glad I put up that poll; it's given me sort of a new perspective on some issues that we've discussed here. I had assumed that The Acaeum skewed slightly toward sellers, which, apparently, was pretty much inaccurate. :)

I was strictly a buyer until December, when I first sold on ebay.  I am running the second set now.  I always knew I liked to buy, but am surprised by how much fun it is to sell!  I'll also take this moment to thank the experienced sellers here for the thread about feedback - who should leave it first, and also for the warnings about which bidders to block.  Thanks for watching my back!

I buy quite a bit but I also sell quite a bit of what I buy (does that make any sense?) I read and look at most everything I can in between.  I do purchase a few things for my personal collection but not near as much as I would like.  I'm one of these people who will buy a shrink wrapped item for my personal collection but then don't have the heart to open it.

It's tough to be "exclusively" a seller when one of the options is "I sell, but make a rare purchase."   :)   Everyone keeps something now and then.  8)

I'm 99.9% a reseller . . . but that is because I've been selling for additional income the last few years.  Anything I buy now, I can buy again.  The day will come when I stop selling on ebay and figure it's time to start keeping all this stuff.

Hi I'm a newbie here on the board, GYG put me onto it.

I mostly sell on ebay but I do a lot of buying on there aswell

eBay listings

I buy collections and split them down for sale!

After reading this site for the last 10-20 mins I think I've found the guy's who dislike Cougarrinard (at last) though when I have dealt with him (buying off him) he's been ok, slow but ok.

Anyways I am glad to have found this site!
