Sellers like this just piss me off to no end.  She is probably sitting on her fat ass in her double-wide trailer wearing a nightgown that she hasnt changed in three days with rollers in her hair and a marlboro hanging from her mouth muttering to herself about buying a new broom because she keeps getting splinters in her crotch when she rides her old one.  :P

I read through a bunch of her older feedback.  Quite a few people complaining about smoke smell and overcharging on shipping.  Big red flag for me right there.  What a bitch.

Hopefully Ebay will help you sort it out but I wouldnt bet on it.

I should have gone through more of her feedback, but I just looked at the summary and the first page or two of feedback . . . it takes so much time to research the items, but to have to research sellers with FB ratings over 98% seems ridiculous . . . that's just EBAY :P

"Okay, we turn the corner and see a Purple 'WHAT' !?!" . . (the DM rolls a 20 or so he says) . . It all went black right after that.

I am going to try contacting eBay about unfair FB and threatening me with NEG FB for no just cause, other than the fact she is a F***ING IGNORANT BOTTOM FEEDER living off storage auctions.

Paul, I just went through a nearly identical issue not 2 weeks ago with a different Nazi seller in which I too gave them a positive FB only to be slapped with a negative because I didn't leave a rave review.  And yes I went the ebay route to see if I could get the FB removed.  Here's an excerpt of the reply I received:

If we were to intefere, and prevent members from leaving the
feedback they choose, then the Feedback Forum would no longer be a place
for free and open communication. In addition, other members would not be
able to review the Buyer's and Seller's comments for each other,
including the replies and/or follow-ups, and make up their own minds
about what happened in a transaction.

Part of my rebuttal to ebay I said while Feedback Forum might be a place for open communication it certainly isn't free.  I think you did everything fairly and honestly.  For that you got burned.  About the only thing you can do is post a follow-up and point out that you left a positive FB for the incompetent seller.

Other than to vent I don't see what more you can do.  You just happended on to a seller who could care less about what they are selling.  They make their living by diving into dumpsters.  At least we know now that when coppercent lists something we run the other way.  Thanks for sharing.

Well, that may not have been a good idea. She has now left me a NEGATIVE FB and on one of the items that I kept, not returned. I am so infuriated I could   . . .

If anyone can offer me some insight to the inner workings of eBay, like BC  , maybe I can get this reversed, but I am NOT contacting this PSYCHO WITCH QUEEN anymore.

So much for trying to be nice & fair

Sorry PM-Knight.

Once again, follow up feedback is the best way to go. Something along the lines of "Left positive feedback, she left negs in return, AVOID!" or "Sent me water damaged product, she negged me when I returned it".

Once again, nothing she can do about it either.

I agree.  As much as I would love to be able to help you out in this situation, as Gary points out above there isn't anything Ebay will do about it,  they don't care.  As Gary & Mike both point out though, I would strongly suggest leaving some seriously nasty(AND Factual) follow up feedback.  Keep in mind you have 4 feedbacks to follow-up at 80 characters each.  You can do a substantial amount of damage with 320 spaces.  Trust me, I've done it before.

Now, if that is not satisfying enough for you, you can always go the route that I have suggested before.  Create a new seperate Ebay ID(or two), buy some of her stuff as cheap as possible, pay for it, and then neg her as soon as you get it in the mail no matter what it looks like. The only problem with doing that though, is that even by doing that, I am not really sure if that is going to do to much to her feedback, given the state that is currently in already.

As a friendly piece of advice though, you may want to be more careful with the sellers with whom you deal with.  Realistically IMO, if a seller has more than 150 feeback total and his feedback percentage is less than 99%, you may want to avoid those sellers all together or at least look very heavily at the negs they have received and what they are for.  Any seller who has over 500 feedbacks and a percentage that lower than 99% I outright avoid completely no matter how great the deal is, as its not worth it to me to deal with the poteential hassle.  TBH, I avoid a lot of sellers who have feedback score of less than 99.5% if they have more feedback than 200.  Usually if a buyer/seller has that much feedback and has anything lower than 99.4% or 99.5%, that is usually an indication that something may be very wrong.  I know that I may be a little over cautious in these circumstances, but to this point it has served me pretty well.

In the long run you may have to pay a bit more by dealing with someone who has a feedback score of 99.4% and above, but you will start finding yourself a lot more happy at the end of the day.  Sometimes the extra honesty and the better service is worth it in the end. :)

i think just basically taking note of what an neutrals or negs actually say. seeing them, you can make your own mind up anyway.

one other tip tho...which was something we were talking about a while back, which also happened to Brian...have a look at what feedback THEY leave as well, as you can get some real dimbo's out there that leave feedback which is just as bad as anything, even though its a positive.

PM, i would go brians route on this one....you have 4 decent entries to utilise for follow-up feedback. you can say an awful lot in that much space.

as for whatever she says, well you can enter follow-ups on your own too.

Thank You ALL so very much for your support. This is some good advice and I will take it. The thought occurs to me that if I wait until the last chance to use Follow-Up Feedback, then she will not have the chance to chime (more like screaching I imagine 8O ) in again. When is the last day that I could use my 320 characters to accurately slam this Psycho Witch Queen (PWQ)?

BTW, it seems as though Julia Hau (a nice seller) has bought the wrinkly (bottom half) rusty stapled UK7 for $3.00, which is about all it is worth or a little more, depending our your value system

** expired/removed eBay auction **

Can anyone give her a heads-up, as I do not want to contact her myself about this issue?

Thanks,

My advice is to leave the reply ASAP so it can spend some time on the lead feedback page.  Fewer people will see it if you wait until it gets buried a couple pages down.

I had a Follow-Up Feedback from a seller a few months after the original feedback and it moved the feedback to that time. See page 3 of my Left for Others feedback (Titan-Games) if this link does not work. BTW, it was just a little tiff I had with Tonya.

i would leave it now, as the matter is very current. if i was leaving a neg, i would wait 89 days, but as i am following up, i would do it right away, so ppl could see it was current. i might not look at it if i saw that it was a much older auction.
