Anyone know how to kick out a bidder after they've bid on an item?
I have what I think is a bs bidder on one item -- I've blocked him from further bids but want to kick him out of the auction entirely.

Will it protect against giant shrews??

Giant Shrews are probably like tigers and always go for the back of the neck.

So we still some extra chain mail for the head/neck area.

As a side note the chainmail (as shown in the picture of the office worker on the geek site) will protect you from ever going on a date with the hot chick in your office.

The encounter just got out of hand.  Your tactics were basically sound; the creature on your back could have been anything . . .

Something like, "Yeah, I was surprised by a giant shrew.  I overreacted and threw myself on my back.  We killed it." is not funny.  Everything else is funny!

Preparing to backstab yourself, getting, errr, maced by a party member, and then groped by a dwarf are only some of what makes it funny.  The set-up of the encounter, the enjoyment by the players & DM, the connection to GenCon . . . the list goes on and on, and I've only read about it.

:D

seriously now, (sorry mike for going on about it really man), this encounter was a DMs dream. i sat there and couldnt believe some of the things they were going to do - i seriously had the dice ready to see if mike (the elf) would fart when he was grabbed by martin (the dwarf) to steady him, THEN john with such a great idea, actually MISSED, i couldnt help but get him to thump mike and watch them all react - was hilarious.

seriously guys, and i mean this. that was a game that i will never forget - not necessarily for the fun element, but 4 great buds gaming together revelling in what we enjoy the most - old-school D&D :)

Mike,

Next time before you go back into Tegal, don't forget to read THE TAMING OF THE SHREW.....

At least it would give you a better chance to capture it...

Maybe you could then become a SHREW MASTER and have them do your bidding...

Okay, I'm done now...

A Wizard is never late, Frodo Baggins, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to.

Next time I've got a little scenario I want to run....Toss Killjoy Off the Top of Greyhawk Ruins...should be a classic!!! :D

But seriously, I think I am also going to bring a short scenario to run....I have a couple of possibilities with Acaeum ties that I would love to put Al and company through.....maybe we can have TWO Acaeum dungeons, and I can have a chance to inflict giant furry mammals on the group.
