Sadly its all about wins and losses and zero integrity.-Len

We really aren't that bad.... To say that he is not the best on Dallas would be a stretch. I would bet Romo is having the year he is having because of TO. Wait till they see some adversity...A loss to Green Bay could be a tipping point. -Len

I cant understand how Ohio State was able to get back into the BCS picture after their lackluster season. They didnt play anyone good. LSU at least I can fathom. They may have two losses but at least they played some quality teams.Too bad Georgia and LSU are in the same conference. In my opinion they are the only two teams that really deserve a shot at the national championship.

benjoshua wrote:Hear, hear! The thing that bugs me is that the ranking system appeared to change on the last week of voting. Up until the last week, voters were mainly considering records whether teams were playing quality teams or not. Then, the last week voters looked at the quality of the teams. Using the earlier system, LSU or Viginia Tech would have never jumped Georgia. And using the last week's system, Kansas or Missouri would have never been top five to begin with. The voters were inconsistent in their voting method.I agree that LSU is the best team out there and they'll likely win over Ohio State like Florida did last year. The Big Ten is not that good this year. The BCS is only good for one thing and that's picking the best team in the nation, but it doesn't even do that very well. The BCS system needs to be scrapped in favor of an eight team playoff system. That way, at least the number nine and ten teams would be unhappy instead of the number three and four teams. Just use the existing top seven bowls and start the playoff in mid-December. And if you eliminate the conference championship games, it's only one more game per season for the top two teams! Plus, it punishes pansy scheduling. The College Basketball Playoff system has certainly resulted in more challenging season schedules. Finally, rotate the top four bowls for the national championship and voila!
