I'm thinking about going.  One of my friends is taking his son and asked if I wanted to tag along.  I'll have to see if the wife will let me do it :)

It's been a long time since I've been able to go to a con.  Would be nice.

I wonder if Goodman Games would be amenable to a pre-order, so they have a better idea how many to bring to GenCon.

On one hand, they might want to keep their convention special...special by not allowing anyone to purchase multiple copies for third parties who are not at the convention.

On the other hand, it would seem like a few guaranteed pre-orders might be nice for any game company.

I have searched on their forums for any hint of a special release for GenCon and haven't found anything.  They are releasing a limited number of their Whiterock Castle uber campaign adventure just like they did with the Gazetteer of the Known World last year but that is all I have found.

That line is going to be freaking huge, so hopefully it makes walking the hall easier

So we figured out some plans yet?
Anyone get their badge in the mail yet? (know the cut off date was July something, so expect mine sometime this month)

Badges should be delivered the last week of July according to the Gen Con forums.

As far as getting to meet Gary...I am hoping that there will be another Acaeum get together with Frank, and perhaps the small group of us there can have a more informal meet-and-greet.  :D

Hey Frank, if we order something from the bakery, can we pick it up from you at Gencon, or will you have 1001 things going on and it would be an imposition? I am thinking about having some goodies availble to snack on in the hotel room during the festivities......

I have it on good authority that Goodman is working on an AD&D module for GenCon (our group is playtesting it :D ).

Talk to me early August..don't want to make a list yet, plus will probably have to see if it is okay to buy more then 1 or 2 this year.

I think that they will limit how many one person can buy, based on what happened last year, but who knows!
