Can anyone verify if that is actually his address? :?:  Or his ex-wife's address?

From his About Me page:

"I work form home, my address is 78 Thurbern road, Portsmouth, hampshire, PO2 0PJ. as i said this is my HOME, and I DO NOT allow personal callers, collections or pick ups form my home address. It has only been listed for business/ legal reasons and any one who turns up will be met with the police being called. thanks for understanding."

"business/legal reasons"    :?:

Does he mean tax reasons?

Does he consider a threat to call the police to be good business practice?

Getting rid of the ex-wife might be a good business practice, especially if she knows too much....

I couldn't resist the impulse to fire up Google Earth and look at Dave's house.

Apparently, as homes in England go, this is a pretty nice one.  Nothing sinister or...you know....cougarlike...about it.  8O

I wonder if it is #1, #2 or #3 out of the three he says he owns...?

Google Maps was my very first stop, too ...

It's a real address, apparently. It probably is Diamond Dave's — we're not talking about a guy in any danger of joining MENSA anytime soon.

What did you expect, a baddies lair - perhaps a dormant volcano with retractable roof disguised as a lake 8O

(and what do you mean 'as homes in England go'? - everyone I know lives in a palace!!)

I doubt any slight was intended.

Don't all UK houses look like those from Eastenders, Doctor Who, and other UK TV shows?  :)

We'd think those Eastenders guys were like landed gentry!! (And I'm sure Mark intended no slight - I'd have probably missed the subtlety if he had 8O   )

O.K.  I know this is going to get me labeled as stupid, but I gotta ask.  I looked at the Britty Kitty's recent wins here:

http://cgi6.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... ed=1&all=0

And I noticed a LOT of wins from the seller "hdragonsna" over the past thirty days.  But when I look at hdragonsna's recent sales:

http://completed.shop.ebay.co.uk/mercha ... 283?_rdc=1

There's NO sales for the past thirty days. :?:  Can he hide his sales? I'm sure I'm missing something here.  Please help. :?

That's because you're looking at ebay.co.uk - if you check from ebay.com, you'll see the completed listings.

Thanks!   I knew something wasn't right, and I just couldn't figure it out.

Well...all of my English real estate information comes from an American television show called House Hunters, which has house hunting shows based in the Old Country once in a while.  :)

I gather that real estate prices are a lot higher in England than in most parts of the US.

Also, US neighborhoods (at least in the West) seldom have a row of houses all of the same design....a rather odd-looking design to American eyes.  8O  (Although, possibly it is the distortion of Google Earth's perspective that makes it look so odd.)

By the way, when I rotate the image a bit to look in the front of the house I think I can just make out Cougarrinard recycling packaging material and re-using postage stamps behind one of the front windows.   8O

The Ctards house is a terrace (I've driven nearby for my work) and is in a shat hole of an area in Portsmouth....(which itself is a shat hole!)

I'd like to think that is not representative of ALL UK houses, but yes, the 'Eastender/Coronation Street' style of housing is very commonplace throughout the country due to space and the age they were built  8)

However, the new places now going up (in every square inch of grass it seems) are a new design and style, but that seems to be the 'new' style being fired up everywhere

Maybe this has to deal with the whole business/legal reasons:

http://www.hotfroguk.co.uk/Companies/Project-Icarus

ashmire13 do you know of it or have any insight about it?

Maybe he is running his ebay scamming under a gov issued grant/tax break.

Hmmm....

I don't offhand, but I know that a while back all UK (possibly world) ebayers had to register if your sales were business or private. I am assuming, due to the high quantity Ctard pumps out, that he has to register as a business obviously.

With that in mind, there has to be an address recorded for this. Hence the shat hole in Portsmouth. This would also suggest that it is his main address where he operates everything from.

I'm pretty sure gyg or . would be able to elaborate more on the business/private seller change a while back, as it may have impacted them more than me.

I'm pretty sure it all stems down to where your main income comes from and if you are working and then selling above £xx on ebay regularly, then you have to register this with the tax offices. Therefore as Ctard can't get a proper job, he needs to register as a business...

But I would say with 99.9% certainty that the Ctard does not have 3 houses. Unless you count his brothers/sisters/mothers/fathers (delete as appropriate) which he also shares a bed with...

Cheers
Dave (not the same as the Ctard!!)  8O
