I nominate Coug for a Darwin Award: person most desperately needing to be booted from the gene pool.

Perhaps the shipping was inflated because the books sold so cheaply?

You may also want to add the ebay user:natalie7421 to your blocked ebay bidder list as it looks like 150 of their 160 ebay transactions involve Cougie, Another Cougie Stooge?

A coincedence? Who in their right mind would bid on over a 150 Cougie auctions and nothing else?

not wanting to get involved of course and maintain my "abstaining view" on these things, that was the ebayer who won the rare roleaids items, including blasted land.

Flamin E-Bay! If i won a few million quid on the lottery i would buy shares in E-Bay just to boot CoogRetard out. Something tells me Coog will not die peacefully of old age!

I'm more interested by this bit:
(We have been emailing back and forth about whether your friend in TN received the shipment yet.)

Wonder when/what that auction was...

Actually, the exchange sounds like a PR win for Dave.

True.  I didn't see his name among the bidders, so does that mean that he didn't bid at all or that he had an American contact bid for him?

I suspect he'll bid, but it'll be closer to the end of the auction.

And I agree that this particular incident was a battle win for Cougie but the war is clearly engaged which means a tougher road for him, and I think that's all we can expect.  There have been numerous knock-out blows discussed(lawsuits, banning, even deadly force, etc...), and I think the wiser of us have realized he can only be endured and reduced but not knocked out of Ebay until he dies or makes a very stupid mistake.  It's possible he'll move on, but I don't personally predict that.

Or, Cougie is waiting to snipe. I don't think that auction had ended yet, but when I saw the $200 shipping, I just stopped.

Road Trip!  The seller can arrange a local pick-up; how far is Connecticut from NY?  An hour or two?  Well, OK, probably more, but certainly not $200 worth of gas . . .

Hehe, from where I am in NY... Connecticut is more like 16 hours away. Easily more than $200 worth of gas to get there and back, and that assumes the address is right on the border.
