Holy Sausage Smugglers! So THAT'S what a troll looks like? Why isn't his head shaved ala Neo-Nazi fashion? It would look infinitely better than the horseshoe-pattern-baldness-with-wispy-prariegrass-topping hairstyle he has now.
He must be the most nondescript-looking polejumper I've seen in a dog's age. I wonder if that is why people troll? Because every other aspect of their life is so pathetically ordinary?

WWII military buffs are not necessarily Neo-Nazis.

The "About the webmaster of Feldgrau" web page does not reveal any such tendencies. His father's web page ( http://www.pipesfamily.com/index.html ) has a military page listing Civil War African-Americans with the name "Pipes" and a home page quote of "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing".

I could be wrong, but Jpipes and his father seem to be the antithesis of a Neo-Nazi family. Jpipes is continuing to be a slight stain to his family name, but at least he's not DOSing the Acaeum. I think I did that last year with a screen-scraping program. :oops:

I'm all for flooding his forum with bogus registrations and entries. Anyone else?

His site isn't exactly Stormfront, so you would be pissing off military buffs. If it were a racist site, then, hey, I'd join you after work for mischief. Even then, that would have the side-effect of making people from the Acaeum look like complete idiots.

I seem to recall Gaypipes being an idiot, but I don't recall all the circumstances. Was it trolling, or did he screw someone over?

bclarkie outed jpipes as a shiller, which resulted in a good ol' flamewar culminating in the ban-hammer being brought down.

Good Lord! Did any of you spend a few minutes reading the forum rules on feldgrau.net? He actually has the gall to think that this forum is akin to a dictatorship??? There are 6 or 7 moderators for each separate forum for chrissakes. And just from reading random threads it sounds like he has a serious problem just trying to keep people in line.

Not surprising though. He actually posts about himself in the third person quite a bit. Perhaps he has a Napoleon complex. That would help explain his uber-strict forum rules and the need to come to this forum and post his crap. You would think he would have his hands full with his own site. Or maybe not...doesnt take a lot of research to figure out the Nazi's got their asses kicked in WWII does it?

I would recommend posting them to the "Wargames" section...I honestly don't want to disrupt the scholarship efforts going on by the legitimate members of the WWII forum...plus our hero seems to post in that section more often and should see them. Maybe we can ask the legitimacy of some famous wargames such as "Big Daddy Hitler's Hissy Fit" or "Blitzkrieg the Donut Shop!"....

I'd actually suggest that if you are going to post stuff on his site, that you post the truth. Things about how the admin is a liar and an Ebay shiller and how he spends his time trolling other internet forums. Might as well let the folks from the site know the truth about him rather than just lowering yourself to the admins level....

Well I for one dont really think that posting a bunch of crap on his forum is a good idea. If Jason wants to be a pussy and pull this crap...that is fine with me. Scott can ban him again and again until he finally gets tired of being the douchebag that he is. Stooping to his level is not going to do a whole lot of good IMHO. By going to his forum and causing problems you will just prove him right. I prefer to badmouth his pathetic, loser, whiny ass right here.

It's too bad JPipes got into trouble on Ebay and into a spat here.

He's obviously a pretty interesting guy....military history, writes a book, leads a tour group, land rover club trips....pretty cool.

Why does that kind of guy care at all about coming back to cause trouble here?

Normally I'd agree. But the level of pathology of such a dork deserves retaliation of this sort. I mean, why come back here? What purpose did it serve to troll this forum where he's no longer wanted? And actually, in his case I think it will serve a purpose. This kick in the shins will show him he needs to put this in the rearview mirror and move on...otherwise, he has a lot more to lose than most of us here for stirring up a hornet's nest. Case in point: the reviews for his book seem to have taken a decidedly negative turn in the past 24 hours....

. I think once it gets through his skull that there ARE repercussions, we won't have to worry about him coming here any longer.

Never underestimate someone who holds a grudge or resentment. He probably has some spare time and decided to de-lurk temporarily or permanently to disrupt things. Two, probably three, accounts in two days means he's getting what he wants from this thread.

He obviously does have better things to do, but being a troll is far more entertaining at the moment. He's manipulating a BB thread for his own amusement; he's attempting to derail this thread and lessen the Acaeum's standing in the eyes of web-surfers; he's kissing up to Da Coug. Or something.

He's an interesting case, inasmuch as I am intrigued and amused by clowns. :roll:
