Jesus Burntwire, can I bribe you so you won't bid against me?
Congrats on the posters... and here I thought I was the only one that noticed them. Rhea is the only person I've seen who lists them in his collection.

I'd pay $50 for a roll of D&D toilet paper.
If you hit a Rowsdower, you get to keep it.

Hmm, I've heard that TSR and RPGA pins and buttons were given away at early cons, but this is the first time I've seen the old lizard logo on one. It must be a promotional piece from 1977-1978. Too bad we can't make out the text!

It states what is printed on the pin in the auction description. You can kind of make it out. TSR is on the bottom under the logo (can't really see that), but then from left to right it's "Lake Geneva, WI" and "Fantasy Crossroads of the World."

Never seen this before. RPGA gave away some
3E
pins at Gencon 2002 (trying to find the set myself, since they actually confer bonuses during RPGA tourneys).

With respect to the dioramas mentioned earlier, the back of the box is just plain cardboard. Sorry, but no info on other sets. This was the only one produced to my knowledge.

edit: strange, my subject line doesn't show up, even though it's listed above as "Bad Moon -'87 C.S.A. module"

I don't get this one - is he selling the cardboard boxes? Just because they've got the TSR logo?

I think they must be D&D collector cards of some sort. All of his other auctions are for cases of baseball cards and such.

Yup, those would be overstock of the 1992 series of the TSR fantasy collector cards. (Which were popular for awhile, then M:tG hit and TSR was left with huge amounts of overstock.) They were packed in individual packs, then the packs were in a display box; a case is a set of multiple display boxes. Probably a couple hundred packs there, sadly no longer worth the paper they're printed on.

Great detective work as always, Nev. I'm really glad you keep up this thread. Has anybody seen the AD&D color castle before? This one must have raised some eyebrows.
