I am not back as a full time collector, more like the occasional loosing bidder.

I never stoppped visiting here to browse and read posts, but I almost never bother to bid on E-Bay D&D items; knowing as I do that I would not likely win anyway. And this is the first time in about 2 years that I have actually logged on or posted.

As I told BigMike when he purchased most of my collection a couple years ago. I sold him those items because I was opening a new company and that was the ONLY reason for my selling off most of my collection.

I still love the few items I have and would not willingly part with them. (A Shrinkwrapped orange B-3, a 2nd print wood grain box set, first prints of all the Supplements, and a few first print hardbound rules books).

I cannot deny that I would like to increase my meager collection an item here and there for a decent price. But the days of my stomping into bidding wars against the very deep pockets of the Acaeum collecting crew are long gone, perhaps never to return. 8)

Most of my my money and time are now spent on my fledgeling company and my family.

Everyone have a great collecting year.

Mike I hope that you have done well in re-selling my former collection. Send me an E-Mail, or tell me here.......

Hey John!

Nice to see you posting here again, even if it's only a bi-yearly check-in.

Happy New Year,
Stephen

Great to see you back here John...we missed your knowledge. Hope your business has been going well!  I'll send you an email shortly.  John (kingofpain) and I meet regularly; you need to meet up with us when you get the chance, I can speak for him by saying we would have no problem travelling up to the outer reaches of Texas (McKinney) some weekend to catch a lunch and talk on collecting!
