if you're in the UK, and live near a FLGS (or can order thru the distributor direct) , you might be interested to know that the main distributor in the UK is offerring DELUXE 4th edition books at £10.80 ($15) each atm.

Dumping them already - not a good sign...

Cheers,

Hi Malc,

I've checked my FLGS recently and they don't do D&D, who is the distributor, out of interest (forgive my ignorance, if it's obvious...)

Cheers

I imagine it's similar to 2e's Monstrous Compendium Annual Volume 4: fewer of them were probably printed than previous volumes, but there are still enough out there to not have it be a pricey item if you're patient.

Hiya,

its dubious, imo, whether or not it counts as a FLGS if it doesnt stock D&D, but there we go :)

The distributor is Esdevium, the largest of the 2 games distributors in the UK.

I have a few, so if you are venturing to Dragonmeet we can sort something out there?

Cheers,
Malc

Thanks Malc, I've found they are about 10miles down the road from me!  :D

I've dropped them a line, to see if I can pop in...

Hi,

picked up a nice gold lady of pain belt buckle at Dragonmeet today :)

Watched the pathfinder Limited (1 of 72) and pathfinder bestiary limited go quite high in the auction. They were very shiny... but I didnt bid.

Cheers,
Malc

Hi,

well, I only got my hands on them very briefly, but they had gold leaf on the front covers, and all the page edges were gold.

Apparently 72 of the basic was made for staff members and to give a few out to things like Convention auctions.

Not sure on the number of the bestiary tho.

Cheers,
Malc

I definitely can't complain about the price on this:

Last couple of times I bid on one of these they topped out above $70.  Merry Christmas to me.  :D

I tried to bid at the end but it was US only.  It was a good pickup.

Yes, but are you still looking for the sequel, Hardtractics, about Confederates using tanks at New Gettysburgh?

Yep; very definitely US only and no budging. I could hear the wailing and gnashing of teeth from here, not just from points North... ^^

I think I did well with these two auctions.  Opinions?

I think you did really well, Martin.

Heart of the Sunken Lands has a special place in my heart because I acquired both that module and the Midkemia version of Tulan of the Isles for 99 cents each well before I was a collector.

That definitely seems really low for BotB.  I put in the token $5 bid and was shocked that it lasted all week.  Sure, I know all the bidding is really in the last couple minutes, but still...

Wow...99 cents.  That's fantastic.  Tulan is really going for some high prices.  Way to high for me.

Martin,

Nice job. The BotB was a good deal. The Midkemia book was a steal!
