Yes Rabbit, you got lucky ... I almost BINed it a $1400.00 then decided to make the minimum $850.00 bid and I was going to come back to it at the end of the auction... problem is, it ended too early in the day for me yesterday and I didn't get it... I would have bid up to $1300 if I had...

But glad to see someone that doesn't have a rare get it for that price, it's just makes it sweeter ...

Lucky me, then.  Woo Hoo!  Can't wait for it to arrive.  :D

Brendon, I was watching that Fazzlewood too, and almost bid on that one.  For some reason I let it slide.  Couldn't believe it went so low.

Ok I just paid WAY more than I though I should for this:

** expired/removed eBay auction **

So I could put it with this:

** expired/removed eBay auction **

That's over $68 to cobble together a 1st print GW. I have such a hard-on for 1st gen Gamma World stuff I just had to have it.

Now, in order to justify this I'll need to sell something else off... I have a "Wizard Logo" booklet and map and I also have a complete "Face Logo" boxed set ...

Thinking about posting one of these on RPG Marketplace to offset my cost. But I still need to keep an extra playing copy. Which would you sell and for what price?

Frankensteined as well as mutated? ;) Nice work...
$57 + postage does not seem at all high, IMHO. Lizard Gammas are scarce and somewhat under-rated (history & $-wise) in my book. :)

The box is actually in pretty nice shape... a little warped but I've found that proper storage and shelf time tend to square these boxes back up.

a sealed "face logo" box just went for $70+... maybe I can get $40 or so for my opened one.

TheMilford -

Once you get your Lizard Logo GW booklet, can you check for any significant text and/or artwork differences between the Lizard / Wizard / Face printings (assuming you still have them at that time ... this might be a good reason to wait to sell your extras - and justification for your multiple purchases!).  I've never seen this addressed in a post, though perhaps someone else here has checked before? We could start a new thread for this.

Absolutely!

I will post photos and info as I have done in the past with the B/X sets.

I have been looking for a nice Gamma World box set for some time.

It arrived yesterday and is in fantastic shape!  :)

Very happy to have stumbled into this on ebay.  As best I can tell is the beat early cover with Warduke and the artist, Norem is quite collectible!  I waited to post until it arrived, of course.  It's even nicer in person.

Were you worried that some shitbag would make a side deal after you won the item? Maybe the seller would tell you about some "screw-up" while they did the side deal and then wait until the final moments and exchange feedback with the new buyer who would also lie to you...

I would have been skeptical... at least if I was Pip... Sometime people just like to fuck with people they don't like.
