Just grabbed a Fantasy Master Town of Baldemar for $4.98. Looks pretty cool but I know next to zilch about Fantasy Master stuff. Any good.

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

I liked it and the other African/Greek type book that I forget the name of.

Not really extraordinarily interesting, but I like it. Bought a H2 and Die, Vecna Die! for under $20 including shipping. Figured that was a good deal.

Are the New Infinites fiction books too far afield from the RPG material?

Because there is just so much RPG stuff out there, we haven't put any of the RPG companies' fiction books on yet. Not sure if we will because it is not really role playing stuff per se ... but again depends on what members think.

I disagree with that completely. For example, the New Infinities Gord The Rogue novels (and the two TSR Gord novels) contain the greatest amount of detail regarding the Greyhawk setting than all the other Gygax or Gygax era Greyhawk material combined.

RPG gaming fiction books do more than most supplemental gaming material to flesh out settings, to breath life into them. Ignoring them is like cutting the heart out of most RPG game settings.

Fair comment, which is why I said depends on what members think!

The wiki is great as anyone can jump in at any time and put items on that they think are important.

That is a very good point you make.

I picked a copy up last year on a whim, just because of the name and I quite like it.

It's got plenty of ideas and stuff in there to keep or adapt as necessary. I think (but wouldn't say for sure) that it pretty much flies under the radar as I have seen very few of these come up.  :?

Fun finds for me today . . .

I almost picked up a Blood Bowl lot --- an open-but-unused box of Blood Bowl, a boxed BB supplement, numerous BB supplement and update books, and mint-in-package BB minis.  Almost, but I have too many minis as it is.  Pass on the Blood Bowl, pun intended.

I bought a musty, boxed Bladestorm for $5.  I.C.E., I.C.E., baby . . .

Then I bought a sackful of 30 mint-on-card Ral Partha/Iron Wind minis for less than a dollar apiece.  The Bladestorm box looked lonely.  And one can never have too many minis.  :)

Ooo, an unreleased (?) dragon miniature from Steve Jackson Games.  And some weird Alien-Egyptian scenery from Armorcast.

The Bladestorm box now has non-Bladestorm metal friends and some anachronistic scenery, but they have no dice.  So sad.  Ah! A mint-on-card DragonDice set for a dollar.  The cardboard is missing a corner and has heavy wear, but the bubble is intact and still holding everything together.

Might as well pick up the shrinkwrapped D&D Expert set for $15 while I'm at it.

Hi,

bought a big collection today.

Mainly White Wolf stuff to flog on, but also almost a complete run of 3.0 and 3.5 WOTC products!

The majority of these will disappear into my own collection, which will considerably up my number of D20 items :)

Cheers,
Malc

I have just received this Players handbook.

I have got a great suprise, because it is a true first print !

8)

The book is in VG / fine condition, even if pages 123-126 are left, unfortunately, I am more than happy.
