Yeah, I'm happy with it.  Not so much for the investment side of things, but because I really like the game, and I've never owned the EON version (already had the Mayfair version + More Cosmic).

Now I need to find a way to badger grodog into a game of CE......

In the last month or so, I've collected some fun stuff:

Karameikos: Kingdom of Adventure $8.00
Mystara's Night of the Vampire $5.00

and the real score: TSR's 25th Anniversary boxed set $25.00!

All complete and look unused.

All in all a pretty good late winter! I wonder what spring holds?

The first piece of my lost childhood collection is finally on its way home.  This innocent looking box changed my life back in 1975, and I almost died when I found out it was gone.  This one is never leaving my sight.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0382326542

edit:  Unfortunately I had to return the item.   The left hand side of the box lid had severebubbling (approximately 1/2 inch to 1/4'' wide to 7 1/2'' long and quite prominent).  In turn the water damage makes the slight bowing more sever in the upper left hand corner.  The bubbling wasn't visible in the auction pictures, and was described as slight water damage in the description.

The seller was fantastic with the return.  He apologized repeatedly for the oversight, and acted professionally.  No harm, no foul.

A shame, but my search for a pristine 4th print white set goes on.

Paul

I was watching that one too, since I've long been on the look-out for a nice 4th print.  But we went to see Watchmen that evening (two stars, in my book), and I never got around to bidding.  I'm glad it went to another Acaeumite, and at a very nice price.  Congratulations!   :D

Thanks all.  I haven't been able to wipe the slight grin off my face since the auction ended.  Funny how one little box can have so much meaning and make me so happy :)

Best,

Paul

I'd say this was a pretty good "fun find" for Grodog :)

http://rpgmarketplace.com/auction_detai ... _id=102018

Got all 6 mags for $56.00 ... he can pull the staples out of #4 and put them in #1 and have a nice $200.00 #1 on hand

way to go Grodog  !!! :)

Thanks Doug:  I'm pretty surprised it didn't go for more, but I'll take it :D  So, tell me about all of your staple-transference tips, everyone ;)
