Holy Crap and Merry Christmas   :santa:

RPG’s, D&D in particular has had a major influence in my life. It’s bonded me together with life long friends...it’s that bond in life not just as friends, but in our jokes, our mannerisms, and what we find funny. Invincible Overlord

Clearance bin doesn't mean low price/cheap though... ;-)  Actually, I don't want to know what you paid.  That'll just hurt...

Back at GenCon 2013, I ordered a gaming table from GeekChic.  It finally arrived a couple weeks ago.  It really is a beautiful piece of furniture.

The table with the top leaves in place:

And with the leaves removed:

With a couple of the drawers opened:

And with the insert with the speedcloth for poker.

I've been so busy the last year at work, I haven't really gamed much other than at conventions, so it's not clear how soon I'll be able to use it.    But my son is already planning his first game session with the table in the next week or two.  So it will get some use.   :D

That is fantastic. I've been admiring this type of table while watching Tabletop but I've never seen the drawer open.

I like it!  I've seen other gaming table advertized which had so many compartments and add-ons, players were forced to be far away from the action.  Players would have to stand up anytime they wanted to move something on the table.  This kind of table strikes me as having the right balance of storage and playing surface.   8)
