Just got married, had a 3 week honeymoon, saving for a house. Wife gave me some serious angry looks as I clicked Buy-It-Now to boot. We've all got our reasons, no need to feel any sort of way about it.

Given the right price, any one of us would sell some or all of our collections.

Well, to make this short, as the new timey thing zapped what I wrote.  :(

These guys are all VF or better. A bit of rust on a couple, but not too bad. Now I have to make the terrible decision about who stays and who goes.

I ditched many of my old con programs in a fit of organized recycling sometime back when I was in high school (or perhaps undergrad).  Sigh....

I pretty much did the same thing about 15 years ago. Regretted it within a year. Slow go trying to find them again.

I got an UK release of the Mentzer Basic set in what I'm calling "novel form" in that it is digest sized. Probably sold by a member here, in fact.

Been looking for a nice copy for quite some time.  But most have been selling for around $200 so I was happy to get this one.  Looks like a little staple rust.

I missed the bidding or you would have paid more for it.  :)

It's a better copy than what I have currently.

Anyone have another they want to sell in similar or better condition?

I picked up a couple of items in Paul's recent Darlene auction.  But this is probably my favorite:

** expired/removed eBay auction **

GenCon XV (1982) was my first GenCon (and first game convention, for that matter).  Flipping through this was a real blast from the past.  The cost to preregister for all four days:  $12.  And the list of hotels, broken into three categories:  under $20 a night; between $20 a night and $30 a night; and over $30 a night.  I always wanted to stay at one of the hotels listed in the first category -- Big Lief's Hotel and Bowling Lanes.  But, it didn't take reservations.   8O     Ah, those were the days!

Mark,
We stayed in one of those in 1982. When we arrived there was a real "gone fishing" sign on the door. There was an envelope with our names and room key on the counter! I don't remember the name but it was about 10 miles from the convention in some tiny town. That was my second Gen Con and I was only 17 at the time. There were four of us between the ages of 16 and 17. It sure was a different time! Great pick up on the program. I think I am still trying to replace that one.

I'm still annoyed that the Dragon Archive CD didn't include the GenCon inserts when they were present in the issues  :|

I was looking through my 1st ed hardbacks the other day and feeling depressed that I did not have a really nice 1st print monster manual; mine was ok but just was a little to worn :(

I decided to go look for one on ebay and came across this:

** expired/removed eBay auction **

It looked good in the picture and the price was smokin so I took a chance on it!  Well it arrived the other day and WOW, I doubt this thing was ever used, bright, crisp and only slight cover wear and corner wear, even smells new  :D

Very happy
