Hi... In case anybody is interested, I just listed a couple of these buckles on Ebay (12/10/2011). Here are the links:

I was at a store and found an Empire of the Petal Throne (1st edition, 2nd print) in shrink. There were also a few 5th print OD&D boxes, and I think a 4th as well. Also, to complete it finally, I found the box set of Perilous Lands (actually two of them) in shrink and even a Lords of Creation box set. Bunch of other stuff snagged as well... some of which is no big deal here, but I like them. Things like near mint Realms of Chaos (both hardcovers) and a Forces of Fantasy box set (for Warhammer.)

Oh, and I even found both the Elf and Barbarian expansion sets for HeroQuest (the board game) which I had been hunting for a long time.

[Edit]

This post has been edited to clarify. New inventory had been brought in, and I was lucky enough to be the first one there to look at it, so I grabbed what was interesting to me.

How much? Give me some hope to find them for a good price... I am still looking for them, but definitely not for ebay prices...

Well, lower than the inflated eBay prices... or else why buy them? :)

first, the not-so-fun-finds:
1st Half Priced Books I go to, I find a PHB 7th+ print (reversed artwork)...for $29.99 8O
I also find a Dungeon Master's Adventure Log for $24.99
This Half Priced Books gets a big thumbs down
PDT_Armataz_01_33  PDT_Armataz_01_33  PDT_Armataz_01_33

needless to say, I leave them on the shelf.

second, the oh-so-fun-finds:
I find another Half Priced Books and find a large plastic-wrapped up brick of 1e stuff with a sticker on it for $24.99. There's a D&DG on one side, a bunch of modules in-between (I can't tell what's really in there) and two DMGs on the bottom. One of the DMGs is definitely an early version with a tell-tale sign. I also see an early MM and usual PHB and FF.
I take the chance and plunk some money down on it. There's a 20% off sale today in addition :D

opening it up, everything ranges between very fine to good condition (some underlining in a couple modules)
1st print D&DG
1st print A1
2nd print A1
1st print U1
1st print X1
1st print Q1
1st print S3
4th print PHB
3rd print MM
Mono B1 2nd Print
Mono D1 3rd Print
Mono D2 2nd Print
Mono D3 2nd Print
another Mono D3 2nd Print (cover only)
Mono S1 2nd Print
Mono S2 3rd Print
Mono T1 3rd Print
Mono G1 2nd Print
Mono G2 2nd Print
Mono G3 2nd Print
Fiend Folio
DMG 6th Beta
DMG 4th (I was obviously hoping this was going to be an earlier version, but oh-well)
Best of the Dragon, Vol I&II
Dungeoneer 17
City State of the World Emperor (not sure which printing, it didn't include the cover, missing books II and III, but had a City State of Invincible Overlord Map)

#2's cover art has been used in a few different places... I suspect it may be one of TSR's most common cover paintings.  I wouldn't be surprised if the the scene has little to do with the scenerio :)

I will guess:  Journey to the Rock.

I draw the line at collecting... D&D beach towels.

No, but you're right, the cover's color is a clue.

These are danish modules...

Image

This one, B1-3, gather Castle Caldwell, Rahasia and the Veiled Society. It is a sort of "short B1-9", In search of adventure, in danish.

The second one...

Image

... is X1, Isle of Dread. And yes island in danish is o.

Nice finds!  Curious how 'expert' can translate as ekspert, but island = 0.
