I have been searching for Van Richtens Monster Hunters Compendiums Vol 2 &3 for awhile. Vol 1 is easy to find. The other 6 guides and 1 adventure were just extras for me, though I don't think I had copies of the Vistani, Werebeasts or Lich anymore, so this lot fills in at least 5 spots in my collection.

Bought this set a couple of weeks ago but it just arrived today. Absolutely beautiful condition (and free shipping since I used the buy it now).  I had volumes 1 and 3 but this complete the set for me and lets me upgrade.

This is just patience paying off which is the way to buy on ebay. It has taken me 6 months but I was able to get all the Priests Spell compendiums at very reasonable prices. Some items aren't very likely to pop up no matter how patient you are, but anything uncommon or even moderately rare, just wait and keep doing searches and you can find them at a decent price.

To make up for the damaged K10 and K12 from FGG the Gods sent me this lot today via Fed-Ex. Incredible packaging, nicely boxed, the seller simply filled it completely with AD&D books, sets, supplements and modules.

Yeah, he threw in extra stuff to fill out the box as well. The MC binder is the boxed version, the volume 2 is in its trifold envelope with spine (rather than folder). Most of the books appear to be unused with the exception of the heavily used DM and Players guide ( which is nice to see). Looks like someone who drifted away from 2nd edition after the splat books started to be churned out.

Finally won one of these that wasnt either smashed up or incomplete.

And now Bill wont have to worry about having to figure out how to get one to NTRPGCon next year.  Just wish they would have thrown in some pewter figurines of Snake, The Duke, Brain, and a few other major characters.  If only Fantasy Flight could pick up the license and do a $75 makeover.  I'd buy it!  8)

Oh, and Smarmy, dont bother....I've already removed the shrink.  Was kind of messed up anyway.

Found DL4 and DL12 in original, unopened shrinkwrap from San Diego Goodwill Books for 8 and 19 bucks, respectively. What a find!

Looks like they still have 9, 10 and a 13 too. Not sure on shrink, but they state "new".

I asked and a seller at San Diego Goodwill replied that it looks like the books are in the original wrapping. Sure enough, DL4 and DL12 arrived in the unopened packaging. I never expected Goodwill to have unopened hard-to-find rpgs.

I think we should film a documentary on you guys scavenging the Goodwill stores for collectible rpg stuff. We can title it "Goodwill Hunting"

I also found DL2 and DL3 supposedly in SW as well, for 8 bucks each, however they have not yet arrived.

My DL3 arrived today in the mail and sure enough it is in the original,  unopened shrinkwrap. Again, great buy for $8. It looks as if there is an insert in the middle of the book. Maybe the foldout map? I seem to remember a discussion somewhere as to if DL2 or DL3 was originally packaged with the fold-out map.

Yep.  DL3 has a map.  DL2 does not.
