Glad you found it!  That seller is a good one for starting a collection.  :)

I tracked down some more small press stuff by Adventurers' Guild.  Found out they had some other stuff I had never heard of before including a fanzine too that went for 6 issues.  Also, another print of their Swordtag LARP and some additional material.

If you want to see some better pictures, I posted scans on ToT:

Here's a pic of some of the items:

I am happy to have found this.  It took much longer than the smaller version box and the yellow box.  Dunno why I cared more about these in s/w than modules, except for the fact I probably won't every play these, lol.

I wish I knew you needed this Pip, I have one in my bedroom, still in the minty shrink, and would have sold it to you no problem. Keeping the business in the Acaeum is always the best bet. :) Anybody else needs one, shoot me a PM and we can work something out.

Just out of curiosity, do these contain the full versions of the DMG, PHB, and MM, or some sort of softcover variations? I had heard of this product before, but never really knew much about it.

I think this one had several softcover variation booklets that looked like the ones in the photo here. One for the players, one for the DM and a "Monstrous Manual"

The contents look very similar to this smaller boxed version:

After thinning the collection a few years back and staying on the sidelines, the bug started tugging at me again. Happened to check Craigslist and found a nearly complete 1st and 2nd edition collection for sale, including almost all the magazines (1200 items +/- all told). And in my home town no less!  8O So I overextended a bit and bought it :D . I hope to go through and offer-up what I don't want/need over the next few months. I will be looking for some advice on the 2nd edition stuff - never touched it until now. I've also got two of the old school gaming group, a neighbor, my insurance agent, and the attorney from work coming over to kick off some 1e AD&D for the first time in 15+ years...Life is good!

Ligmancer:

Your first flourish as a collector was a purchase of 1200 items?  8O

You do belong here on the Acaeum!  :salut:

Wow, I can never find anything on Craigslist that is interesting. You must be in some huge town like NYC or LA.

I'm ascared to wonder how much all that cost. I live near Baltimore, and I never see a haul like that. Hell, I'd like to find a store that actually sells any of it.

You don't just search all of Craigslist?

There's actually a bit about this company in the 25th Anniversary Boxed Set booklet, as to when TSR expanded too far (and poorly).

RPG’s, D&D in particular has had a major influence in my life. It’s bonded me together with life long friends...it’s that bond in life not just as friends, but in our jokes, our mannerisms, and what we find funny. Invincible Overlord

Nice pickup.  I have been hoping to find those, but haven't been diligent looking for them!

Naw, I usually search a state or several. Never find anything fun though.

Have a couple of those.  Not sure if this is one of them.  Will see if I can track them down tonight.
