Yeah it was probably intended to be $255.00. With the huge mass of T&T listings, they make typos on a regular basis. About a year ago they began listing a collection of "Wyrms Footnote" (should be Footnotes, plural). The error prevented others from finding it by search, allowing me to win a couple of auctions cheaply without competing bidders.

Nice win:  which FF figures (or should that be Phigures? :D ) are you still looking for?

Yeah, what he said.  I have everybody but the dragon guy with glasses (Mergatroid?)  I think the set includes, Fineous, Fred, Charly, Mergatroid, Ranger Rupert, Boredflak, Grond, and the evil wizard Kask.

Truth is worth finding and life is too short to work for money.

The two Thunderbolt #7052 blisters I have each contain 6 figures, which differ from the minis from the Finieous Phigures box set (which are the 8 original figures) in the pictures over on ToT @ http://www.tomeoftreasures.com/forum/vi ... hp?p=15862

I still need Grond, Kask, and Mergatroid.

Allan, are there any pics of the minis in the Thunderbolt 7052 blisters? Curious to see what they look like, at least for comparison.

They've been on my "to scan" list for awhile, now; perhaps tomorrow!

This is one of the most fun finds I have had from ebay in years. This guy took books, adventures and magaziens and bound them. 12 massive volumes (Including a Dungeon mag #1) there is some method here, though the magazine collection seems to be whatever he had on hand.

These were well used but the binding is professional and excellent. This guy took asomething mass produced and made it his own unique set of books, with notations, I just wish there had been some homemade adventures and DM logs included.

They look pretty cool, though maybe a bit haphazardly organized. And what's with "Friends and Friends"? Did he mean to entitle them "Friends and Fiends"? Are they leatherbound as stated in the description?

Yeah that is pretty strange. These are his monster manuals. The say Friends and Friends Tomb, but I think he wanted Tome.

The first book appears to be MC 1, 2, 8 & 9

Volume 2 is the MMI, MMII and Fiend Folio

Volume 3 is the MCs for Greyhawk, Dragonlance, Ravenloft,  MC3 (forgotten Realms), Kara Tur, Dark Sun, & Al-Qadim

These contain all of the major reference books for AD&D and 2nd edition and dungeon Mag #1, 16, 17, 20, 26, 27, 28 and polhedron 16-20, and later issues.

It is a strange mix in some ways.

The binding isn't leather or even fake-leather, instead it is the thickness and texture of old reference encyclopedias. Very durable.

I'd love to have Volume 2, or something like it, but the mishmash of 1st and 2nd edition stopped me from bidding on the lot as a whole. I'd consider commissioning a set similar to this, though my choices for inclusion would obviously differ. Probably PHB, DMG, and DDG in one volume, MM, MM2, and FF in another, and maybe a third with key Dragon mags. I guess I need to take the bookbinding class at the U of D. and do them as my class project :).

That's a cool lot for its novelty power.

As a gaming item, it's hit and miss.
