Mike, Do you still have it? If so, I would like to look at it too, before you send it off to the next folks.

Mike,

I've sent two PMs this morning with my mailing address, but they are sitting in my outbox ... I'm assuming therefore you didn't receive them for some reason (server problem, maybe?).

Anyway, would you prefer I contact you via email?

Thanks,
Keith

I'll be interested to see it when this PHB eventually gets to me.

I promise not to keep it too long.

I'm really curious about the psychology of Perelman's edits.

It appears the the author and I are roughly the same age, which makes it particularly interesting since he and I would've been the same age, playing the same game, and having COMPLETELY DIFFERENT opinions of it.

Once I receive it from Mike in DFW, I'll post a message stating that I've received it and then we can discuss the how/when/where it goes next.

Thanks,
Keith

Just curious: is there an actual list of destinations, or will we be doing PMs for the book? (i.e., "first person to PM me gets it next.")

No biggie to me either way; I was just wondering.

Lets do a list so we know.  Otherwise I might not be home when it arrives - if it is sent in August then I will be in the US (LA, New York, Gencon).

I believe Mark is slated to get it after I'm finished.

But with the interest this is generating, I also think that a list would be a good idea.

We might also want to agree to packaging and shipping.

I'll do my best to adhere to everyone's wishes.

I'm going to let Aneoth look at it and annote it asap; then it's shipped to Keith.  From there, you guys workd out the details.  I think in a year it will be fun to see how far our friend has reached out!

How do you want to get it to me? Shall we meet somewhere, or will it be via mail?

BTW: I still have not made it over to your place, and a visit in the very near future would be enjoyable for me.
Perhaps an Acaeum's North Texas semi anual meeting might be in order?

Well, I liked the Players Handbook, but the "Weapon Speed Factor" chart really does "smoke farty eggs."

Quite true.  And I never liked the equipment price table, either.

The Players Handbook was the first time I'd ever seen the term "multiverse", and I remember using it in a school astronomy paper!

No earthly idea what I was thinking (I guess I wasn't).

My teacher slashed through the word in red ink and made a remark that was essentially a school teacher's equivalent of "WTF, over?"  :D

Aneoth has it....I'll have to go by and pick it up to get it mailed on it's way....maybe this weekend if I can.  Aneoth was going to scan some of the funnier pages, I would suspect he's finished now....
