I sent a PM to Kosh earlier this morning, but I might as well go public as the thread has gone there. I also offered to carry the PHB at the OSR Booth at Gen Con. I would put it in a display for all to gaze upon and do what they would with it. I could bring it to Gary Con and NTX and do the same. That way, the book continues to travel the known world of OSR conventions.
It could also be passed off to other OSR publishers who are attending other conventions that I do not attend. No worries of mailing it around or whatever. Just a thought.

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

I need to get this to GenCon2013 and have made it a total commitment to get it there.

Therefore I need to know who is heading up the Acaeum group that will be there so that I can get it to them for signing/ perusing.

It is packaged and ready to go, just need a name and address to slap on it.

Also, I think this would make a good community item and was wondering who would be a good keeper of it?

Suggestions? The Burnt Brothers come to mind.

At GenCon, I think the best way to make connections and get it signed (aside from the Acaeum dinner) would be to have it in a booth.  Who has one?  Not sure, but probably BB do.

So, I suggest mailing it to someone attending the dinner.  They bring it to the dinner for sharing.  It gets handed off to the booth owners for the rest of the con.
After that...?

I still need to get my hands on that thing.

I live in Indy so would be happy to take it to the dinner and hand it off to Bill Barsh for inclusion in the OSR Booth.  Other people are shipping things to me for Gencon no problem with one more item.

Prolly 'cause the text of the copyright work was displayed. Fuzz that part (Photoshop) and it should be legally fine.

I will reconsider my position.  :) If Gnat's scans suffice, forward them my way.

Sounds like a great idea!

For those not familiar, I did not scan an entire Player's Handbook.
I only scanned a total of 59 pages.
Those scans include all of the inner pages; inside covers; and the fly leaf pages which were imaginatively revised by Perelman and his friends.

Here is a link to a folder holding the scans of the Perelman PHB at my space on photobucket
The link below should present you with a slideshow of all 59 scans.

I can't read the text on those -- are the scans displayed full size?

The scans are not displayed at full size in the slideshow.
I can click on individual scans in the photbucket file and edit the image to higher or lower resolutions than those you see in the slideshow.

I resized the photobucket image file to a height of 1100 for the pic linked above.
I do not know how to allow others to manipulate the images stored on 'my photobucket' though.

With the original image files (such as those on my personal computer, or the CD I placed inside the original book) you could view scans to any size you wanted.

Could either you or Kosh send me the scans directly?  ZIP them up?  (I'd limit each zip file to maybe 20 megs, to avoid getting blocked by the email relay).

Well, I want to see the scans, I vote yes.
