I really need to know when GW moved from 15 Bolingbroke Rd. to Uxbridge Rd. So far we have a guesstimate of 8/76.

Yup.  In Owl and Weasel #17 (dated June 1976) they are listed as being at 15 Bolingbroke Rd.  My guesstimate is based upon a 'recollection' that Owl and Weasel #20 (or possibly #21) has Uxbridge Road as the address.  It could be as early as July I suppose.  I doubt it is much later than Sept/Oct.  I think David/Harami has a couple of later O&Ws - so you could drop him an email or message through ebay. I know he still loafs around online if not here.

His name could be an anagram - like something from the DaGygax Code.  :D

Howdy,

Rakeesh sah Tarna wrote:- august-september 76 after returned gw from US trip

O.K. Then that sets the date to 8/76

Rakeesh sah Tarna wrote:- you did not ask. set you bought had a wd 1 flyer given away to the other winner. ask about that gw catalog too and reason for lizards on the books in the gw dnd intro flyer. also why no uk oces. all gw prints have gw addys and announced in their pubs.

O.K. so the WD#1 ad which was originally included with the set further narrows the date to between 6/77 and 4/78.

The cover of the flier has an illustration of the three D&D rule booklets with Lizard Logos which first appear in July of 1975 and no later than December of 1978.

Are you saying there are UK prints bearing the Lizard Logo with a GW address in them? Are you also saying that the set I am describing is not a UK print but a US print imported to the UK?

Paul

My suspicion from the outset.  Well, not suspicion, really, but nagging doubt.
