1977: Character Record Sheets. Tom Wham artwork on cover. Lizard logo, and states "TM Reg App. For". Top-tearing pad with 25+ sheets (actual number appears to be somewhat random). TSR stock # 9014. Versions with blue or green covers and sheets have been reported (other than colors, they appear identical). (Thanks to John Justice for help with this info). Another variation has recently been spotted, which is apparently much rarer than the versions described above: a side-tearing pad of 27 sheets, with pale orange-colored cover and internal sheets, and three-hole-punching along the left-hand side (thanks to Hussain Zaman for this info).1979: Character Record Sheets. Tom Wham artwork on cover. Wizard logo. Copyright still reads "1977", but "TM Reg App For" has been removed. Versions with blue, yellow, or green covers and pink, orange, or green sheets have been reported (other than colors, they appear identical).

BTW, what the heck are these items, as I have never seen or heard of them before. Maybe they are BEFORE my time . . . not that I am trying to say you're older or anything like that.Take care,

Mars wrote:Ya, its pretty hard to slip one by these guys. These auctions are Frank's as well so even though I don't think he ever promotes them here, they are most likely to be found anyway.Necromican is a book of spells, Booty and the Beasts I am guessing is monsters and treasure. These two are from 1979 and by Erol Otus (and others) who did some great art for TSR as well.Infernax is also a spell book by Dave Casciano who did also did a book on dragons and a bunch of wargames under various company names.

Fantasy Art EnterprisesA collaboration of fantasy artists Steve Reich III and Erol Otus, two former TSR employees. Don't be mislead, though, the books below were made before Mr. Otus made artwork for TSR. Sure these books are rare and little-known items today. Here's a list of the titles as given to me by Francois Gromer: * The Necromican. Book of spells with nice Erol Otus cover released in 1979. * Booty and the Beasts. Monsters and Items. * Magical and Technological Items Cards * Geomorphic Mini Dungeon Modules. This 1979 release comes as 5 sheets of stiff, light blue paper, divided into squares of dungeon maps (about 2" long) you can fit together in any combination to build a dungeon.
A childhood friend of early Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) artist Erol Otus, Reiche became interested in gaming as a teen. He and Otus played role-playing games together and released a few small games in the genre. Eventually, both wound up at TSR (the then publisher of D&D). They made contributions to the evolving game and other games by TSR, Otus with artwork, Reiche with game design. Eventually Reiche left TSR to work on computer games with Electronic Arts (EA).
Exceedingly rare supplement by artists that would later work for TSR. "Contained in this volume are new monsters, including demons, robots, and parasites, and new magical and technological treasures. Many of these monsters and treasures are of a more powerful nature than will be found in most fantasy role-playing campaigns. This is intentional, for we feel that this will provide a greater challenge and incentive to those more experienced players who, since fantasy role-playing has been around now for a number of years, must be acquiring higher and higher level characters. We also include less powerful monsters such as Fungus Men, Termite People, Goons, etc., and low power items such as the Doorknob of Unrestrained Entry, Vibroblade, Breathing Device, etc. In addition, we provide several charts and lists in the back of this book to aid in the playing of these monsters and treasures. Finally, these monsters and treasures are not intended to stand by themselves but rather to add to the hundreds of monsters and treasures already available."
