perhaps they use their own versions of commomly used (and accepted?) abbreviations.

for example

NM - Nasty & Mashed
VGC -  Vaguely Goat Chewed
Mint - Its got a hole in it, just like a  friggin polo!

Did I read somewhere that Coug has actually said in the past that 'VGC' in his auctions can mean 'very gaming condition' - Or I might be dreaming that (sounds like the kind of disjointed pseudo-English gobbledegook he might use though!)

Heads-up---wasn't there a problem with Bidpay (closing, not accepted by eBay, etc.) talked about on another thread--and here's what seems to be a new auction with it!!  :?:

You can pay with your CC through BidPay, but BidPay will regect any chargeback from your CC company, and you have no reight to your money back. People use BidPay only 'cos they know once they have your money there's FA you can do if you don't receive your goods.

Your CC company will tell you that the service you paid for was supplied by BidPay in line with the terms and conditions you agreed to at the point of sale. I know 'cos it happened to me with Morgan Stanley. BidPay  will not be liable for non-receipt of goods and offers no buyer protection.

If you're not in the US, don't even think about using BidPay to buy from a US seller. BidPay won't even extend you the basic rights they have to extend to Americans. If you're not an American, you have no rights at all.

Yes, after reading what the fine folks here have said about bidpay, I think I will remove it as an option next auction.  It just doesn't seem to have anything going for it, just adds to the general confusion.

really???  8O  i've been told that it'd be an EPT item but, as a matter of fact is a sort of boardgame... (see the cheats in the pics?)

anyway, i dont know if this one is a 1st or 2nd print: i have always seen 2nd prints with a box while here there seems it is a booklet, a board and some cheats only...

War of Wizards isn't an EPT item but it is by M.A.R. Barker.  It is a separate game.  The one listed is actually a second print.  The first print has a GK logo and the third print comes in the box.

Book of Artifacts by The Dragon Tree and then waaay down at the bottom is a 1E Monster Manual with the Lizard-Man logo 8)
BTW, what's the story on these MM? Is a second print as good as a first?
Thanks,

Nice pictures compared to most other sellers he is honest although the shipping seems a bit high, it is still reasonable. After all this lot will be heavy with all those HB's. None of the Hardback MM's are especially rare and the second print MM is even less so and this one is not in very good condition.

I think this game is the grandfather of "Shazamm!" the french boardgame, but the real grandfather of Magic should probably be "Challenge" by Lion Rampant.

Here are some Wham PC sheets:

** expired/removed eBay auction **

Wizard logo, the condition is not very good and the price is starting to get up there, but it might be worth it for someone who doesn't not have any and is looking for a stop gap.. :)
