Well, I for one might be willing to bid as much as $2,060.04 . . .

but, $2,060.05 ?  That's just ridiculous!  :)

That module weighs approximately 75 grams, so that's ridiculous.

According to diabolical research, it displaces about 75 mL of water.  (I wasn't at sea level, and it was room temperature water, but my scale isn't that accurate, anyway.)  See here:

Does the guy have an RPG price that ISNT off the wall ludicrous? The reason I ask is that he averages about 3000 sales a month, but they all seem to be Magic cards.  I wonder if he actually ever sells any RPG items, since I dont feel like diggng through 3k of his sales a month to satisfy my curiousity, I have to believe he never sells anything RPG related...can anyone prove otherwise?

What's with the crazy shipping prices?  $21.15 to ship this to Canada.  Even with Global Priority this is only $7.

I don't know Mark, I asked about that on the "Silliest auction price - Judges Guild!" thread a couple of days ago. In that case it was a small item with $21.95 shipping.

Makes it more difficult to get the goodies to Canada at a reasonable price if they are going to jack shipping like that!  :(

Simple.  People write "get rich on eBay" books that suggest adding nefarious shipping charges.  People read these books and give it a shot.

I have been dropping in on the Stafford auctions from time to time and have even purchased a few things from him, and this is the first time that I remember seeing unreasonable shipping rates.

To be fair, this is probably accurate as there is no insurance option available for Global Priority or Airmail.  He does state Insurance included in the cost of the shipping.

So, he has to either ship Global Express or Airmail Parcel Post.  If it sold for $250-300, then Airmail Parcel would cost around $19.00 and Global Express around $20.00.

Thanks for clearing that up. I suppose I really should check out the USPS web site one of these days to get more information about shipping charges.

Added: On a happy note, I received a letter from Canada Post today indicating that shipping from Canada in some cases might become a little cheaper in the new year when they change the base weight for Xpresspost, Expedited Parcel and Regular parcel from 500 grams to 750 grams. I would translate that for the benefit of the Americans on this forum but almost everyone who was a teenager in the 70's knows that there are 28 grams to the ounce.

Ask about page 114 and the inside back cover for the EPT if you want to distinguish the 1st from the 2nd (I can already tell it is not a 3rd print). The 1st print will not have a product list on the inside back cover, the 2nd print will.

This was a 1st:
** expired/removed eBay auction **

This was a 2nd:

** expired/removed eBay auction **

EDIT

A 2nd currently up:

This has the backer sheet that was SWed to the back of the box, but was not attached to it any other way (and is often not present with these sets):
** expired/removed eBay auction **
